The Seasonal Inventory Control Associate assists the Receiving and Inventory Control Specialist (RICS) in maintaining overall store inventory control. Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy. Verify all merchandise deliveries are compliant and accurate to Company standards. Ensure all merchandise is prepared for the selling floor and complies with all company ticketing and signage guidelines. Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving it to the sales floor in accordance with Loss Prevention guidelines. Ensure the timely and accurate input for all freight information through the appropriate systems. Execute all RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets or mark downs efficiently and timely to Company policies and procedures. Ensure a high level of productivity through attainment of units per hour (UPH) targets. Maintain a neat and orderly stock room that is compliant with all Company/State guidelines. Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management. What You'll Do As a Warehouse Shipping Coordinator, you'll be part of our Decorah Operations team located in Decorah, IA. You'll get to: With Supervision, prepare outgoing shipments (domestic and overseas) to meet customer, carrier and company specifications. Process the required paperwork and data processing for all domestic and overseas customer shipments. Accurately perform cycle counts of packaged product utilizing the RF Scanner, going to rack locations to count parts (product) on pallets. CARTON/SKID PREPARATION Consolidate downloads and build skids for most cost-effective routing for Customer/company. When necessary, change all paperwork and system data to reflect routing changes. Ensure special skids are used when requested. Split cartons, relabel and re-pack cartons, include bits, label with job number and number of parts per skid, etc. as necessary to meet download requirements. Contact carrier and arrange pickup for special routing. BILLS OF LADING/STRAIGHT BILLS Re-label shipment address to match Bill of Lading. Initiate pool points to ensure accuracy and expedite shipping. CERTIFICATION PAPERS Request certs, when required, on download and ensure certs are attached to the shipment. AIR FREIGHT Enter shipping information and instructions as required for freight shipments. DATA PROCESSING Perform daily system and paperwork updates adjusting dates to meet carrier pickup schedules. Enter charges (prepaid/add) before invoicing. Load and close all freight to ensure proper invoicing. COUNTING OF PRODUCT: Accurately perform cycle counts of packaged utilizing the RF Scanner. This may include utilizing the Raymond (a type of forklift equipment) to go to rack locations to count parts (product) on pallets. INVENTORY CONTROL Ensure proper relocation of parts in the warehouse after splitting a carton. Pull samples for Sales and Quality Assurance departments and adjust warehouse inventory, as needed. Ensure proper lot control (FIFO) when pulling shipments. DOWNLOAD RETRIEVAL 1. File download into proper dated files in order to prepare timely shipment. 2. Print the PSCAN report when necessary.
