    About the Role We're looking for an Inventory Specialist to oversee and manage our inventory by monitoring stock levels, ensuring record accuracy in the ERP/MES, inventory transfers, fulfilling orders, assisting the manufacturing team, and optimizing supply chain processes. The role requires leadership skills and the ability to work independently with minimal direction. The right candidate will also have strong organizational skills, varied work experience and strong attention to detail. This is an on-site position located in Marina Del Rey, CA. Key Responsibilities: Analyze, monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, using the company's ERP/MES system. Receive, store and issue raw material, using the proper standardized processes. Ability to create and maintain Operating Procedures for all key functions under the control of the Inventory Specialist. Manage the process of receiving deliveries, and accurately and efficiently processing customer shipments. Maintain and improve inventory control procedures to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Verify all materials received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantity and revisions Conduct physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy between the physical count and the recorded data. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of inventory control experience Experience and understanding of inventory and kitting processes Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent ability to organize and manage logistics and warehouse operations. A critical eye for detail to ensure accuracy in records and processes. Proficiency in data analysis to make informed decisions. Experience with inventory management software ERP/MES (Manufacturo, Oracle, SAP etc.). Preferred Skills and Experience 5+ years of inventory control experience Experience analyzing inventory data and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying bottlenecks, and forecasting future needs. Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor or electronics fields is very beneficial. Additional Information: Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity.     What does an Inventory Specialist do? The Inventory Specialist is responsible for Inventory Integrity within a Pacific Sales Kitchen and Home department. This includes accurate shipping and receiving of product, processing will call (take with) product, working unaccounted reports for inventory integrity, scanning the warehouse for accurate inventory counts and keeping the warehouse neat and organized. The Inventory Specialist plays a large role in merchandising the department through movement of product on and off of the sales floor. This position is also cross trained in Customer Service and processes orders for customers. The Inventory Specialist must demonstrate a high level of teamwork - in partnership with the Customer Service team to achieve warehouse inventory and customer service goals.
