Responsibilities Place and receive orders for products and supplies based on required minimum and maximum levels as outlined by client or department business rules. Inspect shipments for accuracy and completeness and resolve inconsistencies. Ensure that inventory and supplies are ready for fulfillment at dispensing stations per FEFO, FIFO requirements. Plan, direct and/or execute cycle counts and physical counts. Quarantine recalled, short dated, and returned inventory. Process and reconcile returns to reverse distributer. Investigate any inventory discrepancies and report findings to Quality and Management. Perform visual inspections of warehouse and staging locations and recognize potential issues. Process returns and reshipments. Operate a pallet jack and reach truck as needed. Work closely with Finance to ensure that inventory management is within financial risk guidelines. Effective written and oral communication across multiple departments and leadership to recommend and implement changes or improvements associated with new client requirements, improved efficiencies, and/or regulatory compliance. Maintain product integrity through temperature monitoring procedures. Ensure that all inventory is properly stored within the pharmacy. Validating all pharmaceutical inventory receipts to the invoice. Responsible for other duties as assigned. The above duties are meant to be representative of the position and not all-inclusive. Qualifications MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma 1 year experience related to inventory and ordering Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Pharmacy Technician experience Nationally certified through the PTCB or another approved certifying agency Experience with HIPAA, PDMA, cGMP adverse events KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to accept changing workflows and unexpected demands requiring flexibility. Ability to work under pressure and appropriately prioritize responsibilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to develop collaborative working relationships. Ability to prepare and write investigational reports for management review. Working knowledge of current including Good Documentation Practices, and Good Distribution Practices. Thorough understanding of the State of Florida Board of Pharmacy Regulations Proficient in use of computers and ability to learn internal software programs. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools.
