General Job Summary
The Department Specialists will maintain a proper in-stock level of merchandise and strive for product knowledge in all areas of the store to enhance customer service. Department Specialists will also assist in maintaining clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
Project a positive representation of Ace Retail Group.
Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.
Project a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.
Forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management.
Possess good product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.
Store Operations
Responsible for cycle counting and maintaining desirable inventory level in assigned department(s).
Work with management staff to ensure preventative maintenance and repairs are completed in order to maximize and protect all physical assets (i.e. building, fixtures and equipment).
Ensure accurate receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise in assigned department(s).
Responsible for maintenance of back stock levels in assigned department(s).
Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area, especially in assigned department(s).
Assist with overall maintenance of the store.
Ensure that weekly price changes are done in assigned department(s).
Ensure that monthly cycle counts and negative on hand reports are completed in assigned department(s).
Assist with providing a clean and orderly sales floor including end caps and ad merchandise.
Assist with merchandise resets throughout store, especially in assigned department(s).
Ensure signage is current in assigned department(s).
Operate forklift with proper training.
Communicate any Store Support Center issue to General Manager for follow up.
Participate in store meetings.
Communicate any merchandising, cost control or sales ideas to General Manager.
Be professional in appearance and actions.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

You will work closely with lead calibrators, diagnostic strategists, calibration specialists, technical coordinators, and cross‑functional partners including finance, shipping, and budget teams.
**What You'll Do:**

Maintain control over new equipment, attachments and whole-goods bundles
Mark warehoused bundles with the name of the customer with DIT label
Items ordered for stock will be labeled as FV stock
Place stock items in the Back Warehouse
Assist Yard Controller with pulling stock items from the whole-goods warehouse and from the set-up area and delivering them to technicians
Assist in unloading common carrier trucks as needed
Assist in loading and unloading of company trucks as needed
Accomplish proper documentation for equipment, attachment and whole-goods bundle within the company locations, to include charging locations within the DIT program
Assist the Used Equipment Manager as needed, to include changing locations within the DIT program and moving used equipment as needed
Check received equipment for damage, to include concealed damage
Report any damage to the New Equipment Manager

Skills and qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Forklift operator
Microsoft excel, spreadsheets
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with others
Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Team player, willingness to and be adaptable in challenging situations
Bilingual communications (if fluent in other than English languages)
Schedule:
This position's schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM. This position may be required to work overtime (outside of normal business hours, including weekends) and/or altered hours, if management deems necessary.
Physical requirements
Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing and carrying
Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time

As a Parts Inventory Specialist, you'll work directly in the heart of our fixed operations, supporting our World Class GM Certified Technicians while gaining real, practical knowledge of automotive parts, service operations, and inventory management.

What You'll Do:
Pick, pull, and stage parts for our service team throughout the day
Receive and stock incoming parts orders accurately
Maintain an organized and efficient parts storage area
Operate a hi-low (training provided if needed)
Work closely with our technicians to ensure they have what they need, when they need it
Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts
Communicate clearly with service and parts teammates
Keep the workspace clean, safe, and well-organized
