The Receiving Associate is responsible for efficiently managing inbound inventory, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely processing of materials and supplies required for production. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all shipping and receiving functions.
Loading/unloading of trucks.
Completing shipping/receiving documents.
Receive deliveries in our electronic inventory management system.
Taking samples of incoming materials.
Maintaining cleanliness of the shipping/receiving/sampling area.
Maintaining an orderly storage of products and packaging.
Distribution of ingredients to operators.
Storage of finished products.
Package and Label shipments.
Palletize shipments.
Perform warehouse inventory cycle counts in a timely manner.
Notify purchasing when running low of critical supplies.
Assist operators with production-related functions as needed.
Qualifications
Must be able to operate a forklift and move drums up to 300 lbs.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to lift up to 25 kgs on a frequent basis.
Able to wear appropriate PPE as needed.
Able to read / write in English.
Basic Math.
High school or equivalent (Preferred).
Forklift Experience: 1 year (Preferred).

The Field Inventory Specialist monitors and maintains inventory levels at assigned customer location(s) utilizing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) software. Performs periodic reviews of product lot and shelf-life information to ensure proper inventory rotation using First In, First Out (FIFO) and scrap mitigation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately performs inventory transactions for lot controlled and non-lot-controlled inventory following FIFO methods while understanding the difference between Manufacturer and internal lot numbers
Validates inbound shipment against pack slip and open receipt. Completes processing of receipt VMI and performs put away in designated customer inventory storage locations
Reviews shelf life reports and communicates potential issues with team members and/or customers. Scraps material out when appropriate and follows customer specified disposal procedures
Performs and reconciles cycle counts to compare VMI inventory to actual inventory on hand
Proactively seeks out and interacts with key customer contacts to understand demand fluctuations and potential impact on inventory levels. Identifies and troubleshoots onsite issues and works collaboratively to resolve, escalating when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of related industrial experience and/or training
High school diploma or equivalency (GED, HSED)
Must work well independently and manage own time effectively
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at various levels internally and externally
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
Balances team and individual responsibilities

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in compliance with housekeeping safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
* Adhere to GMP guidelines for personal practices regarding hygiene and cleanliness.
* Coordinating and reserving daily inbound and outbound truck schedules, work activities and accurately entering data into our Warehouse Management System.

* Must have excellent computer skills and experience in extracting and analyzing data using information systems reporting tools such as Excel.
* Efficient with all Microsoft Office products. Experience using SAP, RF Next Gen.
* Must be able to handle multiple assignments concurrently, possess excellent organizational and time management skills, and be able to function in a fast-paced environment.
* Must have good interpersonal, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to facilitate constant interaction with a wide variety of personalities and management styles.
