Position Overview/Job Summary:
We are looking for two (2) Inventory Control Specialists ( work hours 1:00pm-8:30pm) to join the team! The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock management, and supporting operational excellence across warehouse and production environments. This role focuses on analyzing inventory data, identifying discrepancies, improving inventory control processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working independently on routine tasks and special projects.
Essential Job Functions:
· Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking incoming and outgoing stock.
· Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and recorded data.
· Monitor daily inventory transactions and address inconsistencies between physical and system records.
· Identify root causes of inventory variances and partner with operations, warehouse, and other teams to implement corrective actions.
· Track and support cycle counts, physical inventories, and related reconciliation activities.

· Monitor and maintain safety stock levels, reorder points, and lead times to support inventory optimization.

· Evaluate and enhance inventory control processes, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
· Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with inventory control policies.
· Assist in enforcing company inventory procedures and best practices across departments.
· Lead or work on special projects with minimal supervision.
· Adhere to all Safe Work Practices, organizational standards, and company policies.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet inventory accuracy and operational goals.
· Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment

Skills/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1-3 years of experience in traffic, logistics, or related field
Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain preferred.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate inventory records and identifying discrepancies.
Familiarity with inventory management software and technology is crucial for efficient inventory tracking and reporting.
Excellent organizational and communication skills are necessary for collaborating with various teams and providing customer service related to inventory inquiries.
Operate forklifts, reach truck, Rider and sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse.
Basic WMS knowledge is preferred
