Forklift operation experience (preferred).

General Summary
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the overall integrity and maintenance of a store's inventory. The duties of the job require an average of 2030 hours per work week (will vary by store location) dedicated to sustaining the stores inventory integrity to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time. They are to consistently provide amazing customer service to both internal and external customers while being involved and motivated toward the goals of the entire store operations with a willingness to assist in any area they are needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure POs are properly received from Ace and non Ace vendors.
Report inventory discrepancies such as over/short and damages from orders received.
Work with the freight captain to ensure proper receiving and replenishment upon arrival at the store.
Ensure all outs are researched by scanning the location using a mobile device, determining cause, and following all processes to correct the errors.
Utilize all Mango reports and programs along with daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
Follow defective merchandise procedures to ensure credits are received.
Maintain on hand integrity throughout the store by reviewing inventory discrepancies to determine the cause of the discrepancy. Counts must be adjusted as needed after the matter has been properly researched.
Maintain oversight of the following functions within store operations: price change completion, integrity of location codes, manage inventory levels, and adjustments.
Coordinates store preparation for periodic full store physical inventories.
Participates in all Inventory Coordinator training and consistently trains and shares knowledge with other store associates.
Work with various Store Support Center departments to ensure proper inventory controls are in place.
Partner with members of management to report and find solutions for inventory concerns.
Complete all other inventory functions as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of related industrial experience and/or training
High school diploma or equivalency (GED, HSED)
Must work well independently and manage own time effectively
Ability to work between 8:00am - 5:00pm (10 hours/week)
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at various levels internally and externally
Maintains confidentiality while balancing customer specific requirements

Job Requirements
Must possess a minimum of two years of job experience in inventory control or other clerical roles in a distribution center setting.
Ability to resolve routine problems, analyze complex scenarios, prioritize job tasks of varying frequency, and perform with limited supervision.
Basic experience in MS Word and Excel and working knowledge of inventory control systems and processes.
Extensive experience with Excel and spreadsheet management is a must.
Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.

YOUR ROLE
Are you known for your attention to detail? Are you passionate about inventory management and investigating missing items? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to perform inventory reconciliations and identify and resolve discrepancies.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
* Run inventory report using the appropriate inventory query from WMS program and transfer data to Count Sheet template and shared network.
* Print Count Sheets in location sequence. Conduct physical inventory count and enter quantity onto Count Sheet. Record and enter count results into system.
* Research inventory discrepancies by cycle counting discrepant items. Run transaction history to identify the last locations that product was stored.
* Conduct search of "Staging" areas. Perform "Empty" location audits. Record and report the results of the count and audits. Report findings to department supervisor or designated representative.
* Assist in other areas such as operations, shipping and receiving as needed.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED. One year work experience in overall order processing & inventory management, in particular finished goods hardware & order fulfillments
* Skills: Knowledge of SAP system related to Inventory Control functions
Inventory Control, Purchasing, Supply Chain or related experience
Data analysis and analytics a plus, Moderate Excel skills
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. Accurate typing skills and/or data entry. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.

Meet deadlines and production quotas.
Get along with co-workers.
Follow instructions. Including shift start/stop times and breaks schedules.
Work scheduled overtime.
Duties: Perform the following duties according to IS0 9001 work instructions and standards:
Determine yarn put up from Supervisor and/or designated location. (Includes both High/Low locations).
Place yarn into the correct bin location. Stack neatly/and in the correct position as per ISO work instruction.
Make sure all SAP transactions are performed correctly and yarn is properly adjusted.
Return empty yarn buggy to the assigned area.
