DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Regulate all traffic entering and exiting the facility, ensuring adherence to check-in/out and security procedures
Direct visitors and professional drivers to appropriate areas within the facility grounds
Complete accurate paperwork and input driver's license information and seal numbers into the system
Report trailer conditions and temperatures upon arrival and departure
Verify seal numbers on trailers and update yard management program accordingly
Coordinate special needs with customer supervision and management
Assign drop/pickup locations and record relevant data in the customer system
Verify inbound and outbound shipments, matching paperwork and recording data
Update customer system with pickup and delivery information
Assist Shipping/Receiving Clerk as needed
Monitor security cameras, screen visitors, and oversee building security
Ensure building security by checking doors and monitoring entrances/exits
Serve as a point of contact for emergency situations when necessary.
Maintain professional and courteous communication with drivers and team members
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Must be at least 18 years old
Minimum 1 year of previous experience in traffic clerk related roles
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
Previous experience with Microsoft Suite of Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Previous data entry experience
Applicants in a warehouse role must complete a pre-employment drug screen as part of a conditional job offer
Must be able to lift (up to) 15 pounds at times
Must be able to access all areas of the company's property to inspect security measures
Able to walk long distances, perimeter of truck lot, throughout facility, etc.

The focus of this position is to service the client with their parts and inventory needs including: locate stock and deliver stock items to their destination outside of storeroom upon request or per Kanban, receive stock, issue materials to client, and use systems to track inventory as well as to locate and verify inventory for the client. This position is a regular, frequent point of contact with the client and requires a strong, effective customer service capability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Follow all site Safety and Security Procedures; perform all assignments and tasks in a safe manner and report any unsafe or potentially unsafe working conditions to management immediately

Education and Experience
* Minimum high school diploma (its equivalency i.e. GED) or the equivalent work experience.
* A qualified applicant will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the areas of mathematics, and above average communication skills.
* In addition to having a professional appearance and demeanor, applicants must also demonstrate a keen and genuine interest in animals and their care.
* Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the nature of interaction with the public and other partners and leaders within the store.

Work Environment
This role is expected to provide support during key operational hours, with weekend availability. The majority of job duties are conducted indoors, although merchandise receiving, merchandise carry-outs, or stock balancing will require leaving the store briefly. Because this position requires bending, kneeling, moving merchandise (up to 50 pounds, as necessary) and standing for long periods of time, there may be risk of injury resulting from failure to follow safety precautions and procedures.
Contacts
This position has continuous contact with the public at the Pet Care Center and at Pet Care Center -related events, and regular contact and exchange of information with other departments in the field, Distribution Centers, and at the Support Centers. Contact outside of PETCO may be required to coordinate merchandise returns, ordering parts, Pet Care Center repairs, coordination of vaccination clinics, Pet Care Center events, vendor meetings, etc.

General Purpose: The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory count and quality assurance, as well as researching and resolving inventory discrepancies.
Reponsibilities:
1. Properly researches and resolves inventory discrepancies.
2.Oversees process to ensure compliance to inventory processes and procedures.
3. Maintains and prepares various records and reports.
4. Receives and replies professionally to customer requests.
5. Properly makes adjustments within the warehouse management system to maintain an accurate inventory.
6. Correctly counts product and performs counts to maintain an accurate inventory.
7. Safely stages material within designated areas as necessary.
8. Ensures compliance to inventory and quality processes and procedures.
9. Correctly utilizes a warehouse management system and maintains appropriate work documents.
10. Safely operates various equipment and tools.
11. Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality are job requirements.
12. The ability to get along with others and non-violence is a job requirement to consistently promote a positive team
environment.
13. Assist other employees in the performance of their assigned duties when necessary.
14. Identifies any quality issues and immediately notifies supervisor.
