This role plays a critical operational and marketing support function by ensuring all boats and motors are correctly received, documented, photographed, listed online, tracked in the Dealer Management System (DMS), and physically located on the lot.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, tech-savvy, highly organized, and comfortable working outdoors while maintaining precise digital records.
Key Responsibilities
Create, update, and manage all website listings for boats, motors, repowers, and packaged units
Ensure model specifications, pricing, photos, and descriptions are accurate and properly populate from the Dealer Management System (DMS)
Take high-quality photographs of all major units for online listings and marketing use
Build and maintain boat packages and repower engine listings
Inspect inbound major unit deliveries for transit damage and verify VIN/HIN numbers upon receipt
Utilize the barcode labeling system to tag all major units and perform monthly inventory scanning for accuracy
Maintain virtual and physical lot accuracy by updating lot locations in the DMS
Actively assist with lot organization and physically locate units as needed
Communicate discrepancies, damages, or data issues promptly to management
Support sales and management teams with real-time inventory visibility

Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist is a key player in our operations team, responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, organizing parts and materials, and ensuring that production has the resources needed to meet demand. This role involves hands-on work in our warehouse and part counter, with a focus on accuracy, organization, and teamwork. This role is responsible for various inventory control tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our operations. This role is critical to the smooth flow of production operations, ensuring that inventory levels are optimized to meet production schedules and that shipments are processed efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all inventory control processes, ensuring the accuracy of stock levels and tracking movements of parts, materials, and finished goods.
Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems, conducting regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations to prevent discrepancies.
Organize and label parts in the warehouse and parts counter to ensure easy accessibility and efficient workflow.
Maintain organized and safe storage areas for raw materials and finished goods in accordance with industry standards.
Pull and prepare parts and materials for production orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to support daily production schedules.
Communicate with purchasing and production teams to notify them of inventory levels, stock issues, or any potential impacts on production timelines.
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements
Requirements:
· High school diploma required.
· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience preferred).
· 2+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or remanufacturing environment.
· Experience in automotive or transmission remanufacturing industries (strongly preferred).
· Previous experience with an ERP system (preferred).
· Strong knowledge of inventory control techniques, including cycle counting and stock auditing.
· Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams within Production.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management tools.
· Ability to lift and move inventory items as needed.
· Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
