Job Description
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for the stateroom inventory management of the Atlas Ocean Voyage fleet to ensure revenue and occupancy goals are met or exceeded. This includes managing virtual stateroom inventory, crew and operation guest staterooms, oversold voyages and paid stateroom upgrades. The Inventory Specialist will be cross-trained on other Revenue Management duties and serve as back-up to those duties. The individual in this role will collaborate with internal teams such as Reservations, IT, Operations and Guest Services.
- Learn and gain advanced proficiency of the Atlas reservations system.
- Own stateroom inventory management including the management of virtual staterooms, oversold voyages, special stateroom requests, expedition team needs, etc.
- Analyze booking demand trends to manage stateroom guarantees.
- Identify and process paid upgrade opportunities.
- Ensure the maximization of high occupancy occupancy staterooms.
- Support other Revenue Management responsibilities as needed.
The Inventory Specialist position impacts the revenue of Atlas Ocean Voyages by ensuring occupancy goals are met or exceeded through the management of stateroom inventory.
