Responsibilities
Pick, pack, and ship retail orders accurately and efficiently

Position Overview
As an Operations Specialist - Omni you'll be responsible for the operational execution within the Pet Care Center with specific focus on our Omni channel, through the lens of Petco's vision of "Healthier Pets. Happier People. Better World." You'll ensure the efficient execution of all Omni channel processes such as Ship from Store (SFS) operations to ensure consistency with product picking, packaging, & shipping in the Pet Care Center. This role is responsible for a reduction in time spent on SFS operations due to an increased familiarity and process efficiencies. You'll assist in the receiving of merchandise & supplies to and from the store and to ensure that all merchandise & supplies are accurately stocked, and provide guest service, as necessary. This job is composed of a variety of different tasks which may be covered by operational guidelines, and while individual judgment may occasionally be required in order to complete assigned tasks, some questions are directed the Leader on Duty.
Position Responsibilities

* Supports the effective and efficient operations across the Pet Care Center.
* Assist in completion of daily SFS picking, packing, & shipping.

* Coordination with Pet Care Center/Field partners to ensure actual fixturing, floor plan setup, stocking and SFS equipment is completed according to plan and if changes are made that they are properly communicated.
* Communicate with the Pet Care Center Leaders upon completion of day on any remaining unfinished orders, SFS WIMR screen correction information for the Pet Care Center to complete at end of day.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Stores and Receiving Specialist (Aerospace Manufacturing)
This position is responsible for the complete lifecycle of incoming materials, including receipt, inspection, internal movement, accurate inventory maintenance, and issuance to the manufacturing floor. This is a critical role in ensuring material integrity and production continuity.
Core Responsibilities
Stores and Inventory Control:
Material Issuance: Responsible for accurately issuing materials and kits used by the operations team for the fabrication and assembly of aerospace parts, processing all associated transactions in the ERP system.
Inventory Accuracy: Maintain accurate physical and systematic inventory record in the company stores area through precise material handling, location management, and routine cycle counting.
Internal Logistics: Manage the efficient movement of materials throughout the manufacturing plant, utilizing appropriate equipment (hand truck, pallet jack, forklift) including transport to the secure upper mezzanine stores area.
Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Production Planning, Quality Assurance, and Shipping departments to manage material flow.
Receiving and Inspection:
Inbound Logistics: Receive, unload, and process all incoming shipments (raw materials, components, supplies) from vendors and carriers.
Documentation Verification: Perform an initial verification of all inbound materials against the corresponding packing lists and Purchase Orders (POs) to confirm quantity, part number, and description.
System Processing: Accurately transact material receipts in the ERP/WMS system, affixing identification tags, and staging materials in the appropriate quarantine area for Quality Inspection.
Quality Inspection: Conduct preliminary visual and dimensional inspection of received parts to ensure conformance to basic requirements.
Verify required documentation, such as Certificates of Conformance (CoC) and Material Test Reports (MTRs), against the Purchase Order specifications.
Utilize basic precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to check critical dimensions.
Non-Conformance Management: Document and isolate non-conforming or damaged materials, initiating the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process and ensuring rejected stock is securely quarantined.
Area Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized receiving dock and inspection area, adhering to 5S principles.
Requirements
Must be able to receive and interpret written work instructions and verbal directions from supervisors and peers.
Must demonstrate good judgment to perform the job correctly and safely, particularly when operating materials handling equipment.
Ability to read, interpret, and process technical documentation (POs, packing lists, CoCs).
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must have previous experience in manufacturing or warehousing logistics (preferably in aerospace or plastics manufacturing).
Basic proficiency in utilizing an ERP or Inventory Management System (WMS) is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements
Standing 8 hours per day.
Ability to climb one flight of stairs multiple times per day (Stores area is on second floor of mezzanine).

Finger dexterity - the ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers to grasp, manipulate, or assemble small objects for inspection and counting.
Ability to work with or around chemical solvents (e.g., when handling incoming chemical raw materials).
SHIFT
This position requires that you are available for either day or swing shift. We offer a $1.50 shift premium for anyone on swing shift. Overtime is optional and never mandatory!

About the role
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing all inventory-related operations within a company. This role ensures that the organization always has access to the products it needs while considering cost controls, waste reduction, and supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update inventory records using inventory management software.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and excesses.
Perform regular physical inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies.
Order, receive, and document new stock, ensuring its adequate storage.
Coordinate with sales and production departments to forecast future inventory needs.
Implement effective inventory control methods and procedures.
Identify and dispose of obsolete or damaged inventory in accordance with company policies.
Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and company policies.
Work with the logistics team to manage shipping processes and schedules.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Inventory Specialist or similar role.
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
Proficiency in inventory management software.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of supply chain procedures.

Pay: $20-$28 an hour depending on experience

As the Warehouse Inventory and Distribution Specialist, you'll be a key part in our business operations, by making sure that all of our shops have the supplies needed in order to operate successfully. The Warehouse Inventory and Distribution Specialist is responsible for inventory management, keeping on track of supply, budgets, interacting with our vendors, working with members of our support center, and more.

Job Duties
Below is the estimated breakdown of what your regular work week will look like. This is just an estimate and can change on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
50% of your time you will be
Warehousing
Shipping and receiving clerk duties
Warehouse inventory management
Lumping
Cost analysis
Non-CDL truck driving for deliveries as needed
25% of your time you will be
Purchasing
Setting PARS by acting as a liaison between our central commissary, shops, and intercompany customers to understand pars and supply needs
Keeping track of PAR levels and communicating to the support center when supplies are ordered improperly
15% of your time you will be
Coordinating vendor management
Researching vendors to find the best deal(s) for our company
Bringing vendor options to the support center, so support center can make smart choices
10% of your time you will be picking orders
Other duties as assigned
Experience and Education Requirements
High School Diploma
Some post-secondary education is a plus, but not required
3+ years inventory management, warehouser or similar role
Knowledge of supply cost analysis
Experience with Microsoft office Suite of products
Experience with inventory management systems and computer programs
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers
Job-Specific Requirements
Ability to push, pull, lift objects of 50lbs. or more
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to bend, twist, pull, lift, kneel, squat, and other physical activities associated with warehouse work.
