ABOUT THE ROLE
This function serves as on-site labor in the logistics area of the storeroom, including receiving, stocking, issuing, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, client interface, customer service and computer transaction entry. The focus of this position is to service the client with their parts and inventory needs including: locate stock and deliver stock items to their destination outside of storeroom upon request or per Kanban, receive stock, issue materials to client, and use systems to track inventory as well as to locate and verify inventory for the client. This position is a regular, frequent point of contact with the client and requires a strong, effective customer service capability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow all site Safety and Security Procedures; perform all assignments and tasks in a safe manner and report any unsafe or potentially unsafe working conditions to management immediately
Provide professional level of customer service to all internal and external customers and report customer matters and/or concerns to supervisor promptly
Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures and SOPs
Unpack purchased material, verify product against packing slip and PO and enter receiving and inventory information into the appropriate software system or systems, including any new part creation as needed
Issue materials to client as requested; pulling, staging and kitting material as required
Places received material into proper storage location; perform tagging, repacking, delivering and special handling as necessary
Issue returns for unused material per SOP guidelines
Prepare material for return to vendor and prepare parts to be shipped out for repair, per SOPs
Perform cycle counts and report stock balance discrepancies to Manager and Buyer for resolution
Maintain inventory accuracy by count and location; replace barcodes and process relocations in ERP system
Verify on-hand inventory quantities to accurately identify reorder needs on every item
Clean and organize the storeroom on a regular basis, including sweeping, scraping, etc. maintaining minimum standard required
Support corporate initiatives and assist with any special projects assignments as required
Perform other duties as assigned

THE JOB

THE JOB
As an Inventory Coordinator, you'll play a key role in aiding hospital operations by keeping our facility, stock rooms, and treatment areas organized and fully functional. About this Opportunity:
The Metals Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for all aspects of metals raw material inventory transactions and inventory accuracy
Responsibilities:
Issuing metals to Saw and Shear
Entering inventory issue transactions
Re-stocking partial sheets and bar stock
Cycle counting
Inventory records reconciliation
Document error correction and/or coordination with appropriate individuals
Backup for Raw Materials Receiving Clerk
May operate forklift or, crane to perform material handling duties on occasion
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Requirements:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Experience in entering inventory transactions in an MRP system
Cycle counting and inventory error investigation experience a plus
Knowledge of MRP systems, including complex transactions and analysis
Understanding of the concept and uses of Bills of Materials in MRP systems
Fluent in spoken and written English
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proficient at data entry on standard computer keyboard
Strong basic math skills; add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, and percentages
Ability to use basic measurement tools such as tape measure and micrometer
Physical Requirements
Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Certificates and Licenses
Must successfully complete the Vander-Bend forklift and crane certification.
The Inventory Associate is responsible for overseeing daily inventory operations within the retail storefront. Key responsibilities include ensuring accuracy in inventory counts and shipments, as well as verifying and receiving product shipments. The role involves organizing products in storage and on the sales floor, ensuring compliance with California's Track and Trace system (METRC) and the Point of Sale (POS) system. The associate will also ensure that all products are correctly labeled and meet regulatory requirements prior to their transition to the sales floor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (the list is not all inclusive)
* Responsible for barcoding all new inventory in Point-of-Sale system.
* Audits the physical inventory to ensure that the physical inventory aligns precisely with the virtual inventory numbers
* Performs daily/weekly cycle counts and inventory evaluation and verification procedures.
* Provides timely notice to management if discrepancies are found, so that they may be fully investigated.
* Research inventory variances and adjustments.
* Maintains an accurate account f non-stock and unavailable inventory.
* Implements and follows cannabis waste procedures and schedules.
* Creates a calendar of all upcoming expired products.
* Assist with budtending as directed by manager.
* Provides excellent customer experience.
* Accurately log customer in computer systems.
* Accurate records customer transactions in POS system
* Ensures that all phases of the customer experience remain seamless and exceed their expectations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
* Constantly: Walking, standing, grasping/gripping, bending/stooping/squatting, finger dexterity, POS input, coordination of hand and eye.
* Frequently: Face contact with customers and staff
* Occasionally: Reaching above shoulder height, lifting 50 lbs., ability to do push/pull motions, with accommodations upon request.
* Will require working varied hours/day, including nights weekends, holidays, and/or events on occasion
* Occasionally: Overnight shifts between the hours of 9pm-5a
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* High school diploma or GED
* Prior retail or customer service experience (1-3 years)
* Inventory experience in a retail environment
* Strong Math skills.
* METRC or similar cannabis seed-to-sale tracking software experience
* Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, with advanced knowledge in Excel
* Must be 21+ years old and pass a criminal background check requirement
