The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for balancing product inventory records.
This position will ensure that inventory variances are investigated and corrected to create accurate billing information and invoice records.
Responsibilities:
• Daily balance produce inventory against documentation; purchase orders, receiving, shipping, production paperwork
• Verify all receiving and shipping purchase orders are accurate to quantity received and shipped
• Investigate and report discrepancies of over/under amounts, damaged products and rejections to personnel with authority
• Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend process improvements to eliminate them
• Coordinate with Logistics and Sales teams to investigate and minimize rejections
• Create and publish weekly and monthly inventory metrics
• Enter data, update inventory levels in FAMOUS * Print, email/mail invoices and purchase orders
• Other core expectations as defined by the company
Requirements:
• High school diploma required; Post secondary diploma or degree in office administration or relevant field preferred
• Minimum two (2) years' experience in inventory management experience
• Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
• Strong computer skills required; proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required; ERP experience, FAMOUS preferred
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

The Position
The Specialist I, Shipping and Receiving is responsible for executing a broad range of shipping and receiving activities at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals' San Diego site. This role includes the receipt, inspection, documentation, and storage of inbound materials, as well as the preparation and verification of outbound shipments.

Under general supervision, the Inventory Clerk II supports the Production Control and Inventory Control Team. They will perform a variety of duties to acquire inventory, distribute parts, supplies, tools, and documents used in the daily operations of the Production Control Department. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Expedite parts between different work centers and buildings.

Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, ensuring quantities are accurate through regular cycle counts
Record keeping of all inventory transactions and updates

What You'll Do:
The Inventory Coordinator will receive, guide storage, and ensure finished goods and other materials are handled, counted and recorded accurately and safely into the inventory management system and material handling equipment. In addition, this position will be responsible for driving and delivering materials and finished goods between locations on a routine basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform safe operation of material handling equipment for the purpose of receiving, sorting, counting, tagging, picking, locating, relocating, and delivering materials with accuracy, including warehouse supplies and materials.
Match Bill of Ladings (BOLs) and fill out master receiving and shipping logs.
Assist in the reconciliation of inventory, load discrepancies and packaging.
Perform proper inspection, tagging, and identification of all incoming material during receipt.
Maintain and update accurate records of assigned inventory, handle related paperwork and follow departmental procedures, managing, performing and reconciling cycle counts.
Process sales collateral and website merchandise fulfillment orders, including monitoring inventory levels
Process and prepare dock sales and coordinate fulfillment
Delivery of Taproom and self-distribution order fulfillment driving company truck
Offer and strive to upsell additional Boochcraft product on delivery route
Develop necessary reports to facilitate accurate inventory counts including records of all audits, counts and adjustments, including additional finance reporting on routine basis.
Conduct searches to locate products within the system and adjust records when there are discrepancies. Take steps to correct and prevent discrepancies and make recommendations for process improvements. Arrange warehouse in an organized fashion efficient for finding, receiving and counting, including rearranging and inventory of bulk ingredients and other materials.
Prepare staging locations for brewing and packaging operations, tagging all materials in staging locations that are aligned with the production schedule.
Keep warehouse areas clean, contributing to a safe and orderly working environment.
Continue his/her education as needed to fill gaps in technical knowledge.
Additional duties as deemed by Supervisor as needed.
Requirements
What You'll Need:
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED): or 3 years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Requires knowledge of and experience with inventory management procedures, order fulfillment process, and general warehousing terminology and practices. Familiarity with warehouse and inventory management systems required.
License or Certification: Prior forklift certification (Will be re-certified at Boochcraft.). Current Class B Driver's License is preferred.
Computer Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite: (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
