What you'll be doing:
Oversee the training and development of a team of Route Service Representatives
Respond to service requests
Negotiate customer contract renewals
Build strong relationships with your customers and team
Work closely with all other leadership and management team members to provide the best customer service and product programs
Provide route coverage when a Route Service Representative is sick or on vacation which provides you the perfect opportunity to check-in on your Rep's performance and their customers' level of satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
A results-driven, relationship manager who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and help out the team and most importantly, the customer
Someone who will enjoy working with your own team of Route Service Representatives that need your help and support as they develop in their own roles
An individual ready to learn and work to become a customer service and loyalty expert
High school diploma or GED, some college is a plus
21 years of age
Valid non-commercial driver's license in the state of residence
Reliable transportation
Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
Communication and language skills
Basic computer proficiency
Prior leadership, customer service, route sales, delivery and/or entrepreneurial experience preferred

Summary
The Supervisor Inventory reports to the Senior Logistics Manager and has overall responsibility for tracking incoming and finished goods materials, packaging supplies, etc. required in the warehousing and distribution of customer products. Provides accounting support regarding inventory issues. Reporting to this position are cycle counters and a clerk. The position requires direct involvement with daily operations and future projects to assure activities support facility goals and objectives.
Essential Functions
Support the facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) consistently meet / exceed established goals, including but not limited to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, quality, productivity, sanitation, and maintenance. Maintain daily reports that are established to measure daily, weekly and monthly KPI's.
Develop and maintain inventory control systems that meet ongoing and future facility needs
Develop and manage the facility cycle count program and the inventory recoup/repack/return/recycle program.
Provide floor support to Operations Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues and office support to the I/O Coordinators and receiving/shipping office personnel.
Facilitates and executes the hold process for local site
Track day-to-day facility inventory costs as they affect facility KPI's and effectively communicate results to appropriate team members
Ensure daily communications and shift meetings provide the necessary information for employees to do their jobs consistently well while making them feel a real part of the team

Supervise redistribution process ensuring timely completion of all redistribution items.
Investigate, document, and attempt recovery of lost inventory items to minimize losses and keep inventory adjustments in line with monthly budget.
Monitor internal inventory adjustments regularly, ensure proper adjustment codes are used, develop improvement plans where needed to eliminate process gaps/breakdowns.

Job Purpose
The Supply Chain Operations Department is responsible for the oversight, standardization, and technical leadership of the internal material handling operations at the Honda automobile powertrain and final assembly sites across North America. Key Accountabilities

Review/maintain daily reports then go to the spot (Genba) to understand situation, support action for resolution of issues.
Support mass production build out and new model launch activity to ensure quality and accuracy of data with minimal supply chain impact for event/mass production readiness.
Manage and execute project related activity through Specified Action Plan (SAP) to ensure project strategy and activity is completed in a comprehensive and timely manner for project success, including capturing successes and failures into future models.
Participate in department initiatives such as business plan, Fundamental Structural Innovation (FSI) (loss elimination) to gain or share knowledge, promote continuous improvement and foster engagement.
Develop and maintain professional communication networks with other facilities to share best practice, reduce duplicate workload, and collaboration activity
