This Criminal Investigator position is located with the Special Investigations Unit with the Special Investigations Section of the Office of State Police. Candidate must be P.O.S.T. certified in Louisiana. As part of the Special Investigations Unit, the focus of this position will rescue and seek justice for the victims of crimes involving the exploitation of children and the trafficking of humans for sex or labor through investigative partnerships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, and through public education.Two years of experience in law enforcement, investigatory work or military intelligence work; OR Twelve hours in law enforcement or a criminal justice field. Work involves ensuring the security and safety of OAG employees and facilities, conducting criminal investigations, and liaison with other state agencies.
