Has a knack for speaking over the phone (you'll be calling members on leads lists when not assisting members in the lobby). As a Financial Service Specialist, you will: Open new share accounts such as savings, checking, Certificate of Deposit, and IRA's. Assist with processing wires, card disputes, and notarizing documents. Educate members on Credit Union products and services that will benefit them financially to help them achieve their goals. Originate both secured and unsecured loans including auto, credit card, and personal loans. Successfully cross-sell additional credit union products and services to members that best suit their financial needs. Call assigned leads lists to solicit new business and lending needs. Assist members with inquiries and resolve account discrepancies as well as proactively identify problems and escalate to supervisors and management. Be proficient with Microsoft 365 products such as Outlook, Teams, and Excel. Give our members the WOW! service they deserve!
