The successful Candidate will have senior level experience around design, build and deployment of technology initiatives to secure key government client's cloud environment. The selected candidate will be accountable for assisting in strategic planning and architecture and securing enterprise information by identifying network and application security requirements, implementing and testing security controls and procedures. Additionally, this role collaborates with other teams to embed security into the entire lifecycle, integrating DevSecOps principles and automation into the pipeline.

Experience Required:
5+ years firsthand working with multiple Azure security tools and platforms such as Entra ID, Sentinel, Defender, Monitor, Key-Vault, or similar in other platforms.
5+ years managing security policies and initiatives in Azure.
Identity Access and Management (IDAM) concepts, multifactor authentication, SSO/Federation
Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) key concepts
Demonstrated ability to Define, Design, and configure the Azure security platforms, and function as an overall lead managing end to end security on the Azure GovCloud regions.
Experience automating security baselines and policy enforcement in enterprise Azure environments.
Experience automating “Policy-As-Code” using Terraform and ARM templates, with a focus on reusable module design, policy enforcement, and secure CI/CD integration.
Demonstratable understanding of Information Security and Risk Management capabilities related to cloud computing across Windows and Linux, with demonstrated direct experience with the following domains:
o Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM)

Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) has been tasked with delivering an integrated Department of the Air Force (DAF) Battle Network providing resilient decision advantage and enabling the USAF, USSF, Joint, and Coalition Force to win against the pacing challenge. C3BM supports execution in many different focus areas. The candidate will provide Systems Engineering assistance that applies a broad theoretical and practical knowledge of system engineering to the acquisition process. This is a full-time position that can be worked out of LA AFB, El Segundo, CA.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Provide ISSM support that will be the primary cybersecurity technical advisor to the Authorizing Official (AOs), Program Manager (PM) and Information System Owner (ISO). For base enclaves, the ISSM manages the installation cybersecurity program, typically as a function of the Wing Cybersecurity Office. That program ISSM may also serve as the system ISSM for the enclave and reports to the CS/CC as the PM for the base enclave.
Ensures the integration of cybersecurity into, and throughout the lifecycle of the IT, on behalf of the AO and in accordance with DoDI 8510.01
Completes and maintains required cybersecurity certification IAW AFMAN17-1303. Individuals in this position must be U.S. citizens
Ensures all AF IT cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
Supports the PM or ISO in maintaining current authorization to operate, and approval to connect and in implementing corrective actions identified in the plan of action and milestones
Coordinates, with the PM and AO staffs, development of an ISCM strategy and monitor any proposed or actual changes to the system and its environment
Continuously monitors the IT and environment for security-relevant events, assess proposed configuration changes for potential impact to the cybersecurity posture, and assess the quality of security controls implementation against performance indicators
Ensures cybersecurity-related events or configuration changes that impact AF IT authorization or adversely impact the security posture are formally reported to the AO and other affected parties, such as IOs and stewards and AOs of interconnected IT
Appoints IS Security Officers (ISSOs) and provides oversight to ensure ISSOs follow established cybersecurity policies and procedures IAW DoDI 8500.01
Ensures all ISSOs receive necessary technical training and obtain cybersecurity certification IAW AFMAN 17-1301, Computer Security (COMPUSEC), AFMAN 17-1303 and maintain proper clearances IAW DoDI 8500.01
Ensures the AF IT is acquired, documented, operated, used, maintained, and disposed of properly and IAW DoDI 5000.02 and DoDI 8510.01
