Dan Arnold is president and chief executive officer of LPL Financial (NASDAQ: LPLA), a leading retail investment advisory firm that serves and supports over 16,000 independent financial advisors. LPL is the nation’s largest independent broker/dealer based on total revenues, according to Financial Planning magazine. As CEO since January 2017, Dan sets the strategy and direction for the firm with the board, while leading the senior executive team in shaping and communicating the values and operating principles of the organization. Dan has more than 20 years of industry experience. He has served as LPL president since March 2015 and has been responsible for driving the development of the firm’s long-term strategy for growth.
