Work Skill Requirements:
Must be mechanical minded

Physical Requirements:
Required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch.
The employee must be able to continuously repeat necessary movements such as bending, lifting and different hand movements as needed to complete tasks.
Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds frequently and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to climb up ladders and over gates.
Ability to climb on and off livestock trailers that can be as short as 40 inches in height.
Work Environment:
This position is performed inside swine facilities with the occasional need for some tasks to be performed in outside weather conditions.
As times, exposure to loud noises along with dust and fumes particularly in Winter months.
Position Type:
This position is full time working Monday-Friday with the occasional weekend work with the additional availability during weather and staffing challenges.
Education/Experience:
Working knowledge of three to six months of general maintenance
Valid driver's license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
