We are seeking a reliable Part-time Public Safety Officer interested in ensuring the safety of our residents, staff and campus. Shift: Part-Time, Tuesday's 11:30PM-8:00AM Responsibilities: Completes scheduled rounds of both the interior and exterior of every building on campus. Staffs reception desk to ensure monitoring of visitor screening, fire systems and emergency pull cord system during overnight hours. Provides emergency response services to include all incidents (medical, fire, vehicle, mechanical, crime, etc.). Responds to non-emergencies including wellbeing checks of residents, visitors and staff. Completes incident reports as needed. The primary role and responsibility of the Security Officer position is to protect people, property, information, and the reputation of HealthPartners, Hudson Hospital, and the Valley Region's hospitals and clinics. The Security Officer is responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff of Amery Hospital & Clinic. Security Officers provide a variety of services ranging from routine patrols, emergency response, public assistance, report writing, investigative services and other duties as deemed necessary by the Manager, Security Operations. Essential functions include: * Patrol all areas of the hospital (internal and external) and any off-site properties owned and/or operated by Amery Hospital & Clinic on a daily basis as requested. * Respond to the emergency needs of the organization and its occupants when necessary. * Respond to routing requests of all departments of Amery Hospital & Clinic. * Report and investigate all incidents. * Keep accurate documentation of all events during a scheduled shift. * Responsible for quick registration for patients entering the emergency department.
