The Department of Economics seeks to hire a tenure-track advanced Assistant or tenured Associate Professor in Agricultural Economics. This position is one of six positions in a cluster hire that will have research and teaching responsibilities, along with affiliations with the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD) and the Iowa State Extension farm management team. The approximate division of responsibilities for this position is 62% extension, 25% research, 8% teaching, and 5% service. The home college for the position is the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The individual in this position is expected to develop a nationally recognized extension and research program in the economics of cooperatives and agricultural supply chains and will hold the Iowa Institute for Cooperatives Endowed Economics Professorship.
