About the role:
Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, and auxiliary equipment in remote thermal energy facilities.
Repair and install various piping systems, including flanged, copper, threaded, and plastic.
Use chainfalls, hoists, and chokers to safely position large, heavy components.
Perform water treatment tasks such as water testing and maintaining chemical feed systems.
Maintain and operate reverse osmosis and zeolite softener pretreatment systems.
Conduct leak tests, transfer refrigerants, and handle Freon refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations.
Perform minor electrical work, including disconnecting and hooking up electric motor leads, solenoid valves, and other small equipment.
Communicate effectively with central utility plant operations to coordinate the operation of remote facility production equipment.

Reviews and resolves coding edits related to procedures and services charged during the ambulatory surgery visit in the operating room at the time of completing coding
Consults with physicians and/or clinical department representatives, as appropriate, to verify services were rendered, documented and meets the requirements for coding as an outpatient/ambulatory patient type
Maintains three day coding turnaround times for ambulatory surgery accounts based on date of service
Identifies and escalates to Coding Leadership impacts to timely coding and charge capture, and avoidable delays for billing and reimbursement
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent and three years of coding experience or equivalent education/experience.
Certified as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Specialist - Physician Based (CCS-P), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Coder (CIRCC), Radiology Certified Coder (RCC) or Radiation Oncology Certified Coder (ROCC).

Establish and manage a formal review and update cadence for all Revenue Integrity education and documentation to ensure materials remain current, accurate, and compliant

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (BA / BS) in Business, Healthcare Administration, IT, analytical sciences OR equivalent applicable experience in Hospital Information Systems, Patient Financial Services (billing / claim follow-up), HIM / Coding and / or Hospital Clinic or Department Operations (charging / charge capture expertise)
At least 3 years in Hospital Information Systems / IT, Patient Financial Services, HIM / Coding or Clinical Department positions as a lead or other similar position where analysis, education and problem-solving skills have been demonstrated.
Minimum 5 years of experience performing progressively more complex and responsible tasks.

ITS Data Reporting and Application Middleware (DREAM) manages the data warehouses, reporting tools and data access for administrative system reporting at UNC-Chapel Hill. The Project Manager will play a central role in advancing the project's goals by managing day-to-day research operations, coordinating activities across research teams and participating school or community organization sites, and supporting the development and use of web-based instructional and educational measurement tools.
This position will oversee the monitoring of classroom implementation fidelity, coordinate training and supervision of student staff administering and scoring assessments, and support data collection workflows in collaboration with research and technical team members. The Project Manager also will ensure adherence to grant requirements, institutional policies, and district-level procedures, contributing to accurate reporting and high-quality research outcomes.
The position is based in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and is fully supported through grant funding.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (preferably in education, special education, or instructional technology)
3-5 years of work experience in K-12 education or project management of educational technology.

Knowledge of educational and/or literacy research.
Proficient knowledge of spoken and written Spanish, French, or Arabic.
Proficient knowledge of computer programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
Knowledge of university policies and procedures.
Ability to develop training programs for deployment in a digital environment.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and UI/UX design.

The Tennessee Reading Research Center (TRRC) is conducting state-level evaluations of literacy initiatives as well as federally funded research to identify effective literacy instructional practices and improve the determination of students' literacy outcomes. The projects are led by Professor and Director Dr. Deborah K Reed.
