Depending on the weekly workload and coverage needs, additional hours may be offered and can be taken by interested Security Flex Officers. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The following are examples only and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive; other duties may be assigned, as necessary. · Conduct regular patrols to monitor and inspect the premises for signs of unauthorized access or suspicious activities. · Enforce access control procedures by verifying the identity of individuals entering the premises. · Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, taking appropriate action to resolve or mitigate the situation. · Maintain effective communication with other security personnel, management, and relevant stakeholders. · Conduct routine security checks on doors, windows, and other access points to ensure they are properly secured. · Address facilites' misuse by visitors in a courteous, safe, and professional manner. · Driving or operating a company vehicle as required by the job site in coverage. · Ability to collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services. JOB REQUIREMENTS: · Must pass a pre-employment screening including Level-2 Background Check and drug test. · Must have a valid Class ‘D' Security Officer License. · Must possess a valid and active Driver's License with a clean driving record. · Successful completion of the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and written driver's test is required. · A minimum of one year of experience as a Security Officer is required. · The position may require proficiency in either English, Spanish, or both languages, depending on the contractual agreement associated with the designated job site. · Effective oral and written communication skills, including radio communication. · Reliable transportation is required. · Able to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and overnight if required. · Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to grooming standards. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: · Ability to patrol the properties and access areas quickly. · Ability to stand for long periods of time. · Physically able to walk the entire properties. · Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions. · Ability to lift objects up to 30 lbs. · Ability to drive a vehicle.
