Ipsos 4.3
Ipsos job in Chicago, IL
JobID: 7395 JobSchedule: JobShift: Ipsos Worker Classification: Employee - Permanent Regular What makes this role important at Ipsos? Ipsos Strategy3, a leading marketing, brand, and innovation strategy consultancy, is seeking a driven, self-motivated Partner to join our team of entrepreneurial thinkers who are looking to change the marketing landscape for our clients.
The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of both left brain (analytical) and right-brain (creative) skills to bear on our client's problems: someone who is as comfortable building a model in Excel as (s)he is surfing TMZ for celebrity gossip. Our approach to solving problems requires that level of fluidity, comprehensiveness, confidence, and executive presence.
What you can expect to be doing:
* Our Partners play a key role in selling and leading our client engagements, setting the vision for deliverables and presenting brand strategies to clients such as Target, Coca-Cola, Google, HP, Mastercard, Cigna and Uber.
* You will be the senior voice of the firm with clients, working with Principals, Engagement Managers, and Consultants to ensure that our ideas are flawlessly presented to both clients and the broader marketing community. In addition, we'll look to you to help grow our firm, set and deliver on financial targets, inspire and develop those you work with, as well as provide thought leadership for the firm.
* Critically important will be your ability to build relationships, not only internally with the Strategy3 team, but across Ipsos more broadly and of course, with our clients.
* We have seen significant growth since we started the business in 2016, and we will look to our Partners to bring their entrepreneurial spirit to help investigate new offerings and set the tone of our firm as we grow and as we hire additional star talent.
* You'll join a unique team of whole-brain thinkers who come from backgrounds as diverse as brand management, consulting, finance, market research, design, and start-ups - who have all come together with a diversity of ideas to transform the worlds of consulting, innovation, and branding.
* For a relentless, visionary, and centered thinker who thrives on feedback and challenge, this is an unparalleled opportunity for both personal and professional growth.
This might be the job for you if you have:
* 15+ years of professional experience: preferably in branding/marketing, management consulting, brand management, and/or market research
* Undergraduate degree from a top university
* MBA from a leading business school preferred
* Demonstrated leadership skills, both vertically and laterally
* Track record of business development success - identifying, cultivating, creating, pursuing, and winning new business opportunities
* Proven experience in leading a client service team and owning the related P&L
* Ability to work cross-functionally, with a solid understanding of how to integrate market research
* Ease and confidence with "thinking on your feet" - can effortlessly lead a workshop with a group of senior executives
* Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
* Enormous personal impact and executive presence
* Commitment to people - recognizing, coaching, nurturing, and retaining top talent
* In addition to those qualifications, one of the key things we have in common is the ability to tie together disparate pieces of information (from social media, from SEC filings, from keen observation) into a compelling story, and tell it in a way that is engaging and memorable.
If you don't meet 100% of the requirements, we encourage all who feel they might be a fit for the opportunity to apply. We may consider a variety of backgrounds for a particular role and are also committed to considering candidates for available positions throughout our organization, not just the one you're applying to!
