The company is awful run by people who are clueless. No one can stand sales manager, the ops manager doesnt know product and owner is a narcissist. Great combination of blind leading the blind. They have a c as pictured market protected by AAFES so competition is not there.

I liked the 5:00 each day
I worked in customer service and we had some good people there but upper management walks around with no clue. We are not supposed to talk to customers even if they need help. Owner walks around like he knows what he is doing. I think he is a racist just listening to some of the side comments he has made in my prescence. If there was an HR department I would make a complaint but there is not one. I cannot wait until I find a new job.
It was a paycheck
Working in that building was awful. Owner was so dispicable that couldnt tolerate him. Managers are all afraid of him and job. No job is worth that!!!! Owner tried to crack jokes but it was so bad looking at his face had to look away

I liked quitting the job once I was offered something else.
The upper management led by the owner treats everyday workers horribly. I am sure upper management sees the dysfunctionality of the owner but try to avoid him at all cost. He makes stupid jokes at people but he fired someone for making the same joke about him. He has no HR department so have no recourse, The younger employees assume they can grow with company but no upper management is there longer than 5 years. The sales manager is absolutely clueless and lets his regionals do his work and he claims credit. Doesn't know product line so how can you sell it. He cowers down to owner I guess the reason he keeps job. He lost a product line that was in every store because he decided to not to prioritize it and include it in the everyday Plan O Gram which was at least a $5 Mill mistake and kept his job. He paid a worker a year and a half after he had retired then called him tried to reclaim the money. It is laughable how he has kept his job. Please read all the reviews of this company disregard the 1 or 2 good ones because they are plants not real. If you are interviewing for manager please do your homework.
I cannot say anything positive about my work at Ira Green
I left Ira Green because the upper management is horrible and it is led by the owner. Management is trying to run a business with little or knowledge of product line. Started a new business model over 5 years ago and it still is not working correctly. Owner changed to new model and now has to pay shipping where before the it was destination paid. He did not consider this when switching so cut profit margin drastically. Sales manager, IT directors do not know the extensive product line so now each store has a lot of dead product that is now in Ira Green inventory. How this will be retified I have no idea. I am assuming the owner will sell not telling new owner of the mass of unselling merchandise in each store.
Helping our armed forces
This place is a rudderless ship led by an inept captain. No one knows the product but keep pushing a forced business model with people who don't know the products. He is has automated the sales process with no expertise of core products. After 5 years it still doesnt work.

The 5:00 bell to finish work
TOXIC work environment everyone walks on eggshells because no one respected. Owner has no respect for people's abilities so assumes everyone can be replaced.
The best perk was leaving this horrible place
I liked learning the insignia product line
The management is toxic making racial and homophobic slurs constantly. I decided to move on as soon as I found another job. There is no such thing as a real HR department so you have no recourse.
Favorite perk was my ability to get another job
Interesting products which are supplied to our military
The company is totally dysfunctional. Sales manager forget to tell payroll, employee retired Mar 2019 and paid him until June 2020 then tried to get money back. Just is one example of how bad company is.

Some of the people were nice
The owner was bad I think he was the kid everyone picked on so now since his dad gave him the company he is out for revenge. He used to pay people not to write bad things about him or company. Turnover is constant

Worked the challenge coin part of the business and loved working with Marine corp.
The sales manager and owner were absolutely awful. They promised raises and perks never saw any of that. I was warned but did not listen

Tons of SKUs and interesting manufacturing process.
You’ll probably get fired. The turnover rate is insane. They will lie to you about it in interview process. If you are educated, go somewhere else. If you aren’t and have no choice, beware that the company does not care about you.
There is a Keurig... but you still have to bring your own K-cups.
Working with Military was great.
The owner is probably one of the worst people I have ever met. No personality at all and did not appreciate the employees that really cared about their job. All he cares about is how much money he is making. As referenced above review he is a spoiled rich kid that never had to work for anything in his life. A real LOSER.

Working with the Military was great!
The owner is a complete A---as stated above by the other reviewer he is a real big shot with money he never earned. When its time for a raise he just fire's the person and starts over again with a new employee. He is a complete waste of life!!!

Military insignia is very interesting.
When you go through college you are taught about bad business practices and you can see every example with this company: Toxic work environment, no responsibility, bad owner, no perks, no appreciation, no connections to IT to office, low pay, no respect for others. I would live to go back 10 years and do a study of business and owner psyche.

The owner and upper management are absolutely awful and treat their workers horribly

Some of the everyday people are good
Owner was the weirdest person I have ever met. He hated paying people and would go through a purge every 5 years so he could keep new employees low ball pay. Daddy gave him company so never had to work a day in his life.
