Reporting directly to the North America Regional Commercial Director, this position is responsible for developing and executing the Health & Safety Services growth strategy for the region, while providing leadership and guidance to >100 Health & Safety Services consultants throughout the NA organization. This position is also responsible for encouraging clients to move beyond traditional compliance and corrective programs so that they can maximize the return on their investments in health & safety - to de-risk assets, protect people, and safeguard business value. This role will require collaboration across the globe, region, regional service and industry leaders, business units, as well as proactive leadership in the marketplace with clients to grow ERM's health & safety business in North America. The impact will be measured through both sales and revenue growth, margin enhancement, and opportunity pipeline growth as well as by growing ERM's brand in North America. The ideal candidate will be based in the US, will have strong commercial acumen, an understanding of the North American market, and additional attributes including: * High performance in business development and delivery (required) * Demonstrated success of positive commercial impact at large BU or regional level (required) * Proven ability to build businesses (required) * Excellent influential people leader (required) * Effective at navigating through ambiguity and adjusting plans as needed (required) * Subject matter expertise in health & safety consulting (required) What You'll Bring Required * BS/MS in engineering, health & safety, natural sciences, business, management or related degree. * Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the professional consulting environment, with a significant portion of that time focusing on developing and growing a certain area of the business (service, account or an operation). * A high level of business acumen to understand business risks and challenges and a wide range of technical challenges. * History of delivering multi-million-dollar sales / revenue results annually, including successfully winning large and strategic projects. * Offer recognized consulting expertise and an established reputation in the marketplace. * Health & Safety consulting experience (including selling H&S services) * Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the requirements of a global business and travel as required. * Be confident and willing to deal with new challenges, rather than accepting the 'status quo' ('can do' attitude). Key Responsibilities * Accelerate the sales and net revenue growth of the service line overall, focusing on ERM's Key and High Growth / High Value Clients, including the sales and delivery of the full spectrum of ERM's health & safety services; * Ownership of regional execution of the Global Health & Safety Services strategy and making it relevant for local markets taking account of Global Offers; * Developing and leading the execution of robust, proactive service-specific Go-to-Market Campaigns for the Region, working closely with the Global Service Leader, Regional Industry Leaders, Account Directors, Account Managers and other senior sellers in the region; * Be market facing to generate new client work. This includes specific clients/ prospects, which would represent flagship projects for the service. Originating new opportunities to grow, and representing ERM at leading regional/local events and thought leadership. * Develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities aligned with our service line offerings that result in significant sales and revenue aligned with ERM's global strategy and brand; * Supporting services commercial business case development for new acquisitions in the health & safety space, identification of new opportunities and supporting post-acquisition integration plans; * Defining client value propositions for specific service offerings, ensuring that consideration is given to how integrated services/solutions can provide the client with enhanced value. Keeping up to date with regional, market-specific developments and identifying the opportunities for new service offerings to be developed or amended; * Collaborating with the Technical Communities to drive innovation that is responsive to client needs and market changes, and leveraging Technical Communities to promote the full range of health & safety service offerings to our target clients, ensuring our consultants fully understand the content and value of the service offerings for the client; * Leading health & safety services thought leadership within the region and overall client engagement alongside clients & sector teams within the region especially on Top Opportunities; * Hiring, coaching, promoting and retaining next generation of diverse regional Health & Safety Service Partners. Leading H&S partners, collaborating with them to grow the service line in North America.
