If you are a skilled Systems Administrator with experience in Kubernetes, Iridium has a position for you on our IT Operations Team! As a Kubernetes Administrator III you'll independently deliver high-quality work and drive projects and deliverables to completion, troubleshoot complex issues, optimize cluster performance, and drive innovation through efficient use of Kubernetes technologies. What You'll Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's degree in related field OR equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree
5+ years of relevant experience in the industry network administration, including experience as a Kubernetes Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and components
Experience with container orchestration and management, including hands-on experience with Kubernetes extensions and operators
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go, and experience with CI/CD tools and practices
Strong knowledge of container security and compliance, including understanding of network policies, RBAC, and secret management
Experience with cloud-native applications and microservices architecture, including knowledge of Kubernetes networking and storage solutions

What You'll Do:
Create, modify, and maintain accurate and consistent multi-level Bills of Material (BOM) and Item Master records to support order management, development builds, and material requirements
Collaborate with assigned Subcontract Leads, Purchasing Agents, Program Office staff, Engineering teams, Operations personnel, Logistics, and Configuration Management to develop strategies that meet program objectives
Manage material planning lead times and identify material availability, identifying the material need dates, order by dates, receipt dates, and material decision points to be included in project schedules, including forecasting and reservation based on development schedule

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As part of the Desert Operations Team, The System Performance Engineer position will insure that installed systems are performing and operating as designed and in accordance with all CTS or customer standards, practices, SLAs while fulfilling all contractual obligations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As part of the Desert Operations Team, The System Performance Engineer position will insure that installed systems are performing and operating as designed and in accordance with all CTS or customer standards, practices, SLA s while fulfilling all contractual obligations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for onsite technical implementation and troubleshooting of In-Building distributed antenna systems (DAS) and other managed networks
Perform pre and post RF benchmark data collection and data analysis
Interface with CTS operations teams to ensure networks are accurately built with highest quality standards
Perform CW testing, spectrum analysis, segment and system sweep testing as well as PIM and OTDR testing, as required
Perform DAS maintenance to include fault analysis, interference mitigation, and link balancing
Support CTS NOC and respond to Technical Trouble Tickets to investigate and solve the performance issues with Inbuilding DAS systems. Some after-hours may be required to meet SLA s
Support DAS troubleshooting during the maintenance window, including collaboration and communication with Mobile Network Operators and Neutral Host venues.
Oversee AHJ inspections and 3rd party testing as necessary
Work collaboratively with CTS operation teams and clients to meet or exceed contractual obligations and client expectations
Provide technical guidance to the Project Manager and other members of the Construction Team to mitigate or prevent any issues that may arise during the project.
Ensure Regional Director/Operations Manager and customers are aware of issues that will impact project completion or budget.
Use of small hand tools to perform minor installation tasks
Maintain comprehensive project documentation using CTS cloud-based file system
Responsible for creating and generating technical updates, reports and mops for the In-Building DAS systems. Conduct field work and organize test/measurement files.

What We're Looking For:
Iridium is seeking a motivated Senior Systems Engineer, Modeling and Simulation to join our Government Programs Solutions Engineering Team on a Space Development Agency (SDA) project. As a Network Modeling and Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and autonomously implementing ideas and solutions as it relates to designing, building, and applying tools and models for the analysis, simulation, and testing of space and ground communication networks. You will work directly with IP-based network architectures, MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching), NETCONF (Network Configuration Protocol), and common routing protocols to create accurate models of network behavior. In addition to performing analysis, you will participate in requirements analysis, decomposition and management, functional and performance analysis, network design, integration, as well as troubleshooting of network systems. What You'll Do:
Develop and maintain network modeling and simulation tools to support design, analysis, and testing of IP-based communication networks
Build models of IP networks with technologies such as MPLS, NETCONF, OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), and other common routing and transport protocols
Proactively perform requirements analysis, definition, decomposition, and management for network systems
Collaborate with the Chief Engineer and Project Systems Engineers to ensure technical accuracy and value of network models and simulations
Conduct functional and performance analysis, interface definition, and detailed trade studies for space and ground network architectures
Play a key role in technical reviews such as Systems Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Program Increment Demonstrations
Autonomously design and execute simulations that ensure network designs meet technical performance targets
Analyze network data, validate simulation models, and refine them to improve accuracy and fidelity
Work directly with stakeholders to translate technical needs into actionable models, tools, and simulation approaches
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM fields
8+ years of engineering experience on complex technical projects, preferably with direct experience in telecommunications, IP networking, or satellite communications
Hands-on experience with IP networks, MPLS, NETCONF, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, IS-IS (Intermediate System to Intermediate System), EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol))
Ability to learn and understand the functionality of end-to-end communication systems and model accordingly
Strong communication skills, with the ability to confidently present products, deliverables, analyses, and/or issues
Analytical mindset, with the ability to understand a problem and critically develop solutions
Comfortable working independently as a developer/individual contributor while collaborating effectively with engineering teams

Experience with commercial or open-source network modeling and simulation tools such as Cisco Modeling Labs, OPNET, ns-3, OMNeT++, or similar
Familiarity with physics-based modeling tools such as STK, AFSIM, or similar
Programming skills in Python, C++, Java, or scripting languages (preferred but not required)
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, network configuration/automation (NETCONF, YANG, Ansible), satellite link budgets, routers, switches, and communication protocols
Experience deploying and managing network models in cloud-based, containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS), including use of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring
Strong knowledge of system engineering and/or network engineering methodologies
Understanding of tools and software applications that support engineering best practices
Experience with satellite communications systems, orbital mechanics considerations, or early orbit operations
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and languages such as MagicDraw/Cameo and SysML
