We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our Columbus team. The Ironworker will be responsible for installing structural steel, assembling metal buildings, and installing precast concrete panels. This role requires expertise in rigging and hoisting operations, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate is physically strong, detail-oriented, and works well both independently and as part of a construction team.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of ironworking tasks including erecting structural steel, installing precast concrete panels, and assembling metal buildings.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal components.
Operate machinery such as cranes and hoists to position and lift steel components into place.
Install rigging systems and hoisting equipment to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards to maintain a secure work environment.
Collaborate with other members of the construction team to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Ironworker.

Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
