Job Responsibilities:
• Candidates should be able to complete specified tasks and responsibilities, and document, track and complete actions from various functional leads as assigned.
• Develop risk analysis & mitigation plans for assigned test projects in the technical, schedule, and cost areas.
• Support test events associated with an Aviation Project and travels to the OEM facilities to include test witnessing, and test plan/report reviews.
• Develop methodology & SOPs for testing and evaluating software and hardware plans that comply with specification and functional requirements. This includes MILSTD-810/461/464 testing.
• Support the development of Test Strategy and/or Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs) and participate/lead T&E Working Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
• Coordinate, develop, and revise Airworthiness Flight Releases (AWRs) for the Army Project Office with the Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD) to meet developmental flight test and ECP timelines.
• Review program reports and disseminate to appropriate departments for formal review. Departments may include: Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD), ARMY Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), Aviation Flight Test Directorate (AFTD) and Redstone Test Center (RTC), and/or OEM Contractors.
• Review Army Aviation contractor Statement of Works (SOWs) for cost effectiveness, verification of Army air worthiness requirements, and overall engineering capability.
• Plan, coordinate, oversee, and develop cost/schedule estimates, and execute assigned test projects within cost and schedule budgets. •
• Prepare & present briefings to interface with technical representatives
• Provide written and verbal assessments to management regarding status, issues, and risk.
• Provide feedback for contract reviews, TIMs, design reviews, & other technical meetings.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
Education and General experience:
• Bachelor's degree preferred with 10+ years' relevant work experience in test and evaluation.
• A strong work ethic, ability to work effectively with others and a healthy desire to acquire new skills are paramount in this position.
• Knowledge of the full range of specialized methods and techniques of the Test and Evaluation principles; of pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents; and of the major issues, program goals and objectives, and work processes of the organizations supported, as well as relationships with other programs within Department of the Army
• Experience working with development, testing and evaluation of aviation systems
• Experience in review and development of Airworthiness Flight Releases (AWRs)
• Experience functioning and leading within a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of Black Hawk platforms structural, mechanical, and dynamic component interrelationships and capabilities

Serve as the central point of contact between Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and senior leadership.
