Who We're Looking For:
We are looking to hire a Mid-to-Senior Level DevOpsEngineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering and will employ modern DevOps practices to improve our development team's productivity and system reliability.
Problem-solving is key to the ability to utilize creative and innovative thinking. Rather than include the same old boring job description, here is a list of tasks the prospective employee may be asked to accomplish and/or attributes the candidate should possess.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and SAM
Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Develop Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and system integrations
Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with development teams to streamline deployments
Implement automation frameworks for security, performance, and availability
Analyze infrastructure performance and suggest improvements
Collaborate with team members to improve engineering tools, policies, and procedures
Gather and aggregate logs and metrics into actionable insights
Some Must-Haves:
5+ years of professional cloud engineering or DevOps experience
Hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS, SAM, and GitHub Actions
Proficient in Python scripting
Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code and cloud architecture principles
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation best practices

Migrate source code repositories from: GitHub Enterprise Server, BitBucket, or GitLab to GitHub Enterprise Cloud.

Build and document a migration path, including tooling and automation.
Collaborate with project management to plan and execute migration waves.
Analyze existing GitHub Enterprise Server configurations and repository metadata to ensure accurate migration.

Build and maintain scripts to support acceleration of migration activities, interfacing with required API from the source control management systems.
