Required certifications: CPR, First Aid, AED certification (obtained within 90 days of employment if not already certified), national certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM) in group fitness instruction or YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise certification. 2. Required certification in areas of expertise (yoga, Pilates, spinning/cycling, Zumba). 3. YMCA New Employee Orientation and Mandated Reporter Training within 30 days of hire. 5. Continuing educations/renewals of certifications kept up to date and submitted to the supervisor on or before certifications expire.
