The IMM Graduate School of Marketing is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) as a Private Higher Education Institution under the Higher Education Act, 1997.
In 2002 a fourth IMM Committee was started in Western Australia, with the aim of meeting new challenges for outreach to miners in the Pacific Rim areas.
