Job Summary Details:
Pay: $20.50-$22.00 / Hourly The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Ensure that all of the daily operational equipment is cleaned and ready for use. Each member of the dish crew works rotating stations at all of the food service outlets. Dishwashers support the SpaceX mission by helping the food services department maintain and organize a clean, safe workspace in all dining areas, kitchens, and other departmental workspaces.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or older • No experience required and on the job training provided • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up and work a dishwashing machine
Help the team meet time and quality standards set by the supervisor
Monitor the quality of cleaned dishes
Maintain a clean and safe workstation
Maintain cleaning of the kitchen equipment as needed
Effectively communicate with your team
Ensure all dishwashing chemicals are stocked and functioning properly
Remove recycling, waste, and food waste from kitchens
Maintain organization of dish and equipment storage areas
Light prep work and food handling support as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
1+ years of work experience in any field
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1+ year of experience in a customer service or food services support role
Experience in a corporate environment
Possession or willingness to obtain WA food handler's card
Previous work experience in large team settings
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Available to work AM shift (7AM - 3PM)
Ability to carry large heavy items, such as dishes in tubs or trays unassisted (up to 50 lbs.)
Ability to stand for long periods - up to 8 hours a day
Ability to work all shifts Monday-Friday
Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of objects

A dishwasher is responsible for verifying and cleaning all necessary utensils, dishes, and cooking tools in a restaurant or food service establishment.
The primary duties of a dishwasher include:
Maintaining cleanliness: Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all dishes, glassware, silverware, and cookware by effectively washing and sanitizing them.
Equipment maintenance: Operating and maintaining dishwashing machinery, including dishwashers, sanitizing equipment, and glasswashers. This may involve regular cleaning and scheduled maintenance of the machines.
Kitchen organization: Placing washed items in their appropriate storage areas, organizing dishes, and restocking supplies in an organized and efficient manner.
Assisting kitchen staff: Supporting the kitchen team by helping with food preparation, such as peeling fruits and vegetables or simple chopping, as requested by the chef or cook.
Waste disposal: Properly disposing of garbage, recyclables, and other waste materials in designated areas, ensuring a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen.
Adhering to safety regulations: Following all health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace. This includes using protective equipment like gloves and aprons when necessary.
Time management: Efficiently managing time to complete tasks in a timely manner, especially during busy periods.
Collaborating with coworkers: Working closely with other kitchen staff members to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of clean dishes to the serving staff.
Flexibility: Being open to performing additional duties or tasks as assigned by the kitchen manager or supervisor. This may include assisting with food delivery, cleaning other areas of the kitchen, or helping with inventory control.
Qualifications and Skills:
Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical strength and stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required in a restaurant setting.
Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
