    IMAGINATION STATION Full Time Facilities/Janitorial Coordinator Description: This position is responsible for performing janitorial duties for all areas of the science center facility. It requires quality customer service to be provided at all times, with a desire and willingness to learn and acquire proper cleaning techniques and related activities that are essential to the daily operation of the facility. This position will also be responsible for coordinating the workload of the part time facilities staff to ensure that the building is clean and guest ready at all times. Responsibilities: Curate daily task lists for part time staff and ensure all tasks are complete Create monthly schedules for Facilities Associates Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming Clean and supply all facility bathrooms Empty all trace cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms Dust furniture, walls and exhibits Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks Assist in the coordination of setup, teardown and clean up for events such as banquets and meetings General maintenance of grounds including but not limited to removal of debris and snow from sidewalks, driveways and parking areas using proper equipment Conduct weekly inspections of janitorial equipment to ensure proper functionality Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED • Six months or more related experience • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to follow oral and written instructions. • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. • Ability to work effectively with a team. • Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort. • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and a willingness to learn. Physical Demands: This position requires routine walking, standing, bending and the ability to lift 50 pounds. The science center is a hub of learning that provides the tools necessary to thrive in the 21st century and that shapes future scientists and innovators. We represent the idea that the sciences are more than theorems or formulas on a page, but are powerful concepts that can allow a wide-eyed child to ride a bike across a high wire and learn about where they get their energy. Description The Manager of Educator Programs is a key position on the Education team that supports the science center's our strategic goal of establishing Imagination Station as a STEAM education expert in innovation and collaboration. This position actively works to generate and sustain partnerships with school districts and educators. The Manager of Educator Programs should be comfortable developing curriculum, delivering to a variety of audiences and training team to do the same. This position reports to the Director of Education. Responsibilities Oversees the Ohio Invention League and Invention Convention programming for the Northwest Ohio region Build new and expand upon existing partnerships with teachers, schools and school districts Works within the Education Department to develop and deliver teacher professional developments for both revenue generating and grant funded projects Takes a leadership role in Imagination Station's Educator Advisory Committee Manage grant funded projects, such as Engineering for Confidence Actively participate in local schools' advisory committees Train part-time team as needed Ensure that programs are delivered on-time in a fashion that meets or exceeds Imagination Station's high standards for content delivery Meet revenue goals related to program delivery and partnership development Other duties as assigned Requirements BA/BS degree in Education is preferred, or related experience in education, science or museum studies.     IMAGINATION STATION Exhibits Technician Part Time Description: This position reports to the Exhibits Manager and performs repairs, cleaning, installation, de-installation and general maintenance of science center exhibits and related structures, fixtures and/or projects. Ensures that the Facilities and Exhibits Manager is informed of all significant developments and potential issues related to exhibits on public display. Monitors exhibit and facility areas to ensure visitor and building occupant safety. Responds to routine requests from the general public while working in public areas of the science center. Performs walk-through/ visual inspections of exhibits to identify needed repairs and general maintenance Plans and performs all repairs and general maintenance as required. Performs physical cleanup relative to construction and deconstruction duties. Works collaboratively with science center facilities and housekeeping personnel to ensure proper coordination and servicing of facility as required. Demonstrates responsiveness to requests for assistance from other team members.
