IMAGINATION STATION Part-Time EXPERIENCE TEAM ASSOCIATES Approximately 20-25 hours/week DESCRIPTION: These key positions will be the face of the Imagination Station. These individuals will have the ability to assist visitors with exhibits on the floor including the High Wire Cycle and Simulator, and present high-energy demonstrations to audiences of 30-300 and facilitate hands-on activities for visitors in a fun manner while communicating meaningful science content. Individuals need to enjoy communicating and educating visitors from 1-100 years of age. It requires quality customer service to be provided at all times, with a desire and willingness to learn and acquire proper cleaning techniques and related activities that are essential to the daily operation of the facility. Responsibilities: Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to: • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming. • Clean and supply all facility restrooms. • Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms. • Empty all trashcans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary. • Dust furniture, walls and exhibits. • The use of cleaning solutions according to specifications. • Wear proper personal protective equipment at all times. • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks. • Assist in the setup, takedown and clean up for events such as banquets and meetings. • General maintenance of grounds including but not limited to Removal of debris and snow from sidewalks, driveways and parking areas using proper equipment.
