Job Description The Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.
Duties
Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
A strong understanding of child development.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
Associate's Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE.
Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.

The Kayak Attendant operates kayak rentals on the weekends and holidays. Must have excellent people skills and be comfortable in and around water. Kayak attendants will help guests get outfitted safely for kayaking and help guests in and out of their kayaks. The attendant will also handle guest check-in and care for equipment. Previous kayak experience is not required but is preferred.
The 2026 Kayak Rental season will start on April 17th and conclude on September 27th. Training will take place prior to the start of the season and be scheduled based on staff availability.
KEY FUNCTIONS
Assist them in wearing an appropriately fitted PFD, getting in/out of kayak and giving basic paddling advice (training provided)
Must participate in water rescue training; comfortable executing maneuvers to help get a person out of the water
Communicates and enforces waterfront rules and regulations to participants, members, and guests.
Cares diligently for the equipment, making sure it is put away tidily and carefully and reports any repairs needed

OVERVIEW
Assists with Natural Resources grounds keeping and Trails maintenance as required with a focus on equipment operation, invasive control, pond maintenance and ecologically minded land management. The Resources Technician will assist Trails Technician and Grounds Maintenance as necessary.

This position works within the Greenway's Youth Program team, supporting our goal of providing high quality programming while connecting children to the outdoors through recreational and educational activities. During the summer, the Day Camp Director oversees the execution of our summer camps (PreK-10th grade). OVERVIEW Under occasional supervision, assists in planning and supervising the daily management and maintenance of the assigned golf course. Performs required grounds and equipment maintenance and repair work. Performs related work as required.
KEY FUNCTIONS
Assists in supervising the duties of golf course maintenance staff. Supervisory duties include scheduling; instructing; assigning, reviewing and planning work of others; maintaining standards; coordinating activities; allocating personnel and acting on employee problems. Reviews work of subordinates for completeness and quality; offers training, advice and assistance as needed.
Inspects grounds, buildings and equipment for safety; takes corrective action as necessary.
Oversees and participates in routine and corrective course maintenance tasks, including landscape installation and maintenance, turf maintenance, irrigation installation and repair, chemical applications, drainage installation and repair, and the construction / maintenance of teeing areas, greens, bunkers, cart paths, etc.
Oversees and participates in the maintenance and repair of golf carts, equipment, buildings, grounds, etc.
Inspects maintenance work in progress to ensure compliance with established schedules, policies and standards of quality and safety.
Prepares routine reports and records as required.
Operates a variety of equipment such as hand and power tools, golf cart, tractor/mowers, backhoe, dump truck, turf maintenance equipment, etc.
Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as the immediate supervisor, other company directors and officials, subordinates, customers, sales representatives, golf professionals, contractors, tournament committee members, and the general public.

OVERVIEW
The Equine Caretaker is the person is responsible for the daily care and wellbeing of our lesson and boarding horses under the supervision of the Equestrian Manager. Supports the Equestrian Programs team in making sure horses are sound and fit for lessons and well taken care of. This person should have experience working with and caring for horses, as they will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of care for all our horses. Ability to ride and train horses is preferred but not required.

Under supervision, and on an “as-needed” basis, engages in outdoor recreation and afterschool activities with students and campers and provides quality care and enrichment that enhances children's social skills, elevates activity levels, promotes an appreciation of nature, and extends learning in a fun and safe environment. Outdoor Recreation Specialist

Must be a comfortable swimmer and feel confident around natural bodies of water
Must be comfortable teaching people who have varying levels of experience in different outdoor activities

MINIMUM QUALIFICIATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or/ability required. High school diploma, or equivalent
Previous experience working with children preferred.
Current CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child and Youth Protection prevention training; will train
Must be available weekends and holidays and attend staff meetings on time.
Must be able to work a majority of the summer. All camp staff get one consecutive week off during the summer.
Must participate in USA Archery Level 1 Archery Instructor Training, and other in-house trainings as needed. All trainings will be provided.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Some physical requirements of an Outdoor Recreation Summer Camp Specialist position could be endurance including prolonged standing, bending, hiking long distances, biking, climbing, and stretching; requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate outdoor equipment and camp activities; requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs. Must be able to exert up to fifty pounds of force occasionally and/or a significant amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects when needed. Daily exposure to inconsistent weather conditions such as sun, heat, or rain and animals such as bugs and snakes, etc. is possible. Must be able to operate paddle craft with reasonable accommodations.
