The junior designer is expected to apply standard design techniques under the clear direction of the lead designer or engineer. Tasks will have clear and specified objectives, but will require the investigation of a few variables to provide a design that will meet stated objectives. The incumbent is also required to meet design milestones agreed to with the lead designer or engineer. Documentation of each phase of the design project is required for internal use and transmittal to the customer. Technical competence is necessary for the incumbent to apply current industry accepted technology to meet the project objectives. The junior designer will be required to review the details of each completed task to ensure that his/her work is error free. The positions require working with a variety of industries, clients, and technical issues. The junior designer is required to track budgets for assigned tasks on each project to prevent the project from exceeding its budget. The junior designer will sometimes meet with customers to discuss design related questions. The junior designer must be able to work with others. Overtime is sometimes required on a project. Travel is sometimes required on a project. Primary Responsibilities: Scope - The junior designer is responsible for supporting the discipline design portion of all scope documents and delivering documents which meet the scope requirements. The junior designers are responsible for using the correct documents (from the ITAC network) and assuring that these documents meet their intended purpose. Scope documents include: Scope of Work - defines project deliverables and schedules Discipline Narrative/Execution Plan - defines the details of the discipline design Specification - defines the details equipment or programming effort (when applicable to your discipline) The purpose of these scope documents is to communicate the project objectives to the client, project manager, and design team. These documents must have enough detail to allow the discipline design team to proceed in the absence of the lead engineer. These documents must specify the deliverables and schedule. Schedule - The junior designer is responsible for following the project schedule as defined in the scope documents. Budget - The junior designer is responsible for asking about budget allotted for assigned tasks, tracking their hours for those tasks. Quality - The junior designer is responsible for the quality of work and deliverables assigned to them. 5. Execution Plan - The junior designer is responsible for aiding in the execution of the Project Execution Plan, communicating areas of risk and delays to the lead/responsible engineer, and sometimes aiding in the development of the Project Execution Plan. At all times during the execution of the project, the junior designer is responsible for aiding in the maintenance of the scope documents, schedule, budget, and quality. The junior designer is responsible for following the project execution plan; this includes updating the lead engineer and/or project manager on the status of upcoming items in the execution plan. Throughout the execution of the project, the junior designer is responsible for reconciling all scope, schedule, and budget issues for their tasks by maintaining the proper project documentation (e.g., CRA, telephone confirmations, meeting minutes, needs lists). All conversations and issues involving the scope, schedule, and budget are to be discussed with the lead/responsible engineer and the project manager and then documented. The junior designer must assure that the proper information is available for their assigned tasks such that the project can proceed efficiently (on schedule and on budget). Requirements Physical Requirements: The following are the general physical requirements, physical activities, visual acuity and working conditions that represent essential functions necessary for ITAC Engineering staff positions. Working Conditions: The worker is subject to the following environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and or outside. Temperatures below 32 degrees or above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Noise - noise above the ambient noise level. Work Site Hazards - Proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and elevated work areas, etc. The worker may be required to wear a respirator. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design, industrial equipment general arrangements, equipment setting, and piping plans/elevations/isometrics preferably within an industrial setting. 3D CAD experience in Plant 3D (including modeling industrial equipment (boilers, chillers, pumps…) and routing pipe/duct/cable trays within 3D environment. Laser scanning of industrial sites, working with point clouds, and stitching/aligning scans together Formulating Navisworks models from baseline point clouds and using Edgewise for within the point cloud Cutting plan and elevations drawing from the 3D model, both equipment layouts and piping layouts 3D CAD experience in Plant 3D Laser scanning, working with point clouds Formulating Navisworks models from baseline point clouds Cutting plan and elevations drawing from the 3D model. Pulling Piping MTO's from the 3D model. Working with vendor STEP files and incorporation into 3D models. Input pipe specs into Plant 3D such that isometric piping drawings show the correct Bill of Materials. AutoCad 2D experience with equipment and piping layouts but also with P&ID, PFD, Riser diagrams and other 2D drawing formulations. Experience formulating General Arrangement drawings, Equipment setting drawings, Piping and Pipe support drawings (both orthographic and Isometric), P&IDs, and PFDs. Knowledge of MEP would be a plus. We are seeking an experienced Appian Administrator to support and lead the migration of Appian applications from an on-prem Linux environment to AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service). The ideal candidate has hands-on experience administering Appian environments, managing deployments, and working closely with DevOps and cloud engineering teams to design, implement, and stabilize containerized Appian solution in AWS. The EHS Manager will be a key player supporting the implementation and administration of the ITAC EHS Program. The EHS Manager will fully support our commitment to safety and must exemplify our Core Values. The EHS Manager will develop Industrial EHS assessments, develop of EHS policies, programs and plans, lead and coordinate safety meetings, conduct training, and facilitate incident investigations at ITAC's manufacturing, assembly and fabrication operations. Requirements Experience/Education OSHA 30 Hour General Industry. Minimum 7 years of experience managing EHS programs in construction or general industry organizations, process, manufacturing or similar general industry organizations. At least one year of management and oversight experience for direct reports and/or management training. Advanced coursework or training in EHS subjects and college level courses and degrees. Valid Driver's License and ability to drive to project sites with company vehicles. Responsibilities: On-Site Quality Installation Oversight: Monitor and inspect all electrical work on-site, including conduit and cable installations, MV/LV switchgear, panels, lighting, lighting controls, and grounding systems. Witness and document pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in coordination with testing vendors and commissioning agents.
