Engineer - Line Design (All Levels)

Supports business objectives through the design of overhead and underground transmission lines, transmission line standards development and support, construction support of capital and maintenance projects, collaborative work on capital projects with other internal and external entities including Substation Design, Planning, Asset Management, Operations, Legal & Real Estate and Local Government & Community Affairs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Serves on capital and maintenance design projects by checking designs submitted by contractors, issuing approved projects for construction and participating in the creation of conceptual transmission line designs and routing.
* May collaborate and review designs created by other Engineers and Associate Engineers.
* Prepares cost estimates, material requisitions, specifications and drawings for internally designed projects.
* Responds to inquiries from Planning or other departments related to existing or future transmission line and substation projects in the ITC footprints.
* Participates on a work team of Transmission Line Design Engineers.
* Participates in work group policy development, policy implementation, negotiation and resolution of issues.
* Collaborates with other engineers and departments which may include consulting, managing projects, developing standards, organizing resources, or maintenance.
* Provides technical support and recommendations to field personnel and contractors for the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of system components.
* Provides expertise for projects and committees regarding technical and non-technical matters related to design engineering.
* Generates internal and external reports on various facets of transmission system.
* Attends meetings and training sessions to increase professional knowledge and skills.

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.
* Associate Engineer
* Engineer - minimum of two (2) years of related experience,
* Senior Engineer - minimum of five (5) years of related experience.

* Structural and/or Geotechnical coursework preferred for civil engineering majors.
* Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards including National Electrical Safety Code (NESC).
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).

Senior Telematics Analyst (Fleet Area)

Responsibilities include positioning the company's' fleet operations for continuous growth. Monitors and tracks all items related to fleet telematics technology and analytics through Geotab's Fleet Management Solution. Uses fleet tools to support and create efficiencies within the company's fleet. Works with fleet team, leading real-time tracking of key fleet activities, analyzing data and creating custom reports to improve effectiveness across our field operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Monitors daily utilization of all equipment in the fleet.
* Actively alerts leadership and field on fleet inefficiencies and suggestions for improvements.
* Identify opportunities to improve fleet tracking process in Geotab and other fleet tools and develops plans to implement solutions.

The Director of Global Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing the purchasing and inventory planning functions at ITC including issuing purchase orders, working with global operations to ensure timely receipt of inventory, establishment and maintenance of transportation contracts, tariff and duty oversight, manage forecasting, inventory maintenance, and management of Purchasing team members.

Purchasing

+ Oversees all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies.

+ Maintains relationships, negotiates contracts and formulates policies with suppliers.

+ Coordinates all customs and duty assignments for inbound shipments.

+ Maintains daily communications with overseas office regarding product ordering, availability, shipment timing and transportation.

+ Optimizes purchase planning in conjunction with the Sales team.

+ Develops cost reduction strategies.
