Position Summary
This role is responsible for the profitable growth of all product lines with North American design authority. Individual will develop and implement product and pricing strategies, provide technical product support, application assistance and product training to sales staff. The incumbent will manage pricing and product rationalization activities, champion new products and perform product portfolio analyses through the Value Based Management (VBM) process. In addition, the incumbent will be a liaison between Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service.
Essential Responsibilities
Develops the Connectors, North America, Product Management Strategy and Execution.
Research market conditions in local, regional, or national area to determine potential sales of product; Collects and analyzes data to evaluate existing and potential product market. Examines and analyzes statistical data to forecast future marketing trends.
Manages portfolio and product roadmaps for assigned product group.
Identify new product opportunities.
Champions new products through the product development process, including opportunity prioritization, completion of activities and ensuring new product introductions occur per schedule.
Develops key business contacts within the industry and maintains active communication with key customers, distributors, and agents.
Leads the development of technology roadmaps for the company and partners with Engineering in converting these roadmaps into new concepts and products.
Develop and execute strategies to drive growth, retention and profitability and optimize market penetration.
Proactively seek, identify, and recommend potential teaming and acquisition targets, in conjunction with the leadership team.
Remains cognizant of all pertinent competitive activities in North America, including technical developments and market share data and performs competitive and market attractiveness analysis
Oversees proposal preparation, pricing establishment and quotation activities.
Analyzes monthly and quarterly reports detailing the status of accounts and sales figures.
Partners in advertising, trade shows, and sales promotion programs and other industry activities.
Partners in the strategy and execution of product launches, including the development of Marketing Communications materials.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
BS/BA in Business Management, Engineering, or a technical field
20+ years will be considered in lieu of degree.
MBA desirable
5+ years of progressive sales or business development experience, preferably in the Connectors manufacturing industry
Established track record of successful leadership of a technical organization.
Experience in working with cross functional teams to develop pricing and proposals

The IMOQ QC Operations Digitization and Master Data Technical Lead is responsible for driving the digital enablement, optimization and standardization of QC business and operational processes across the IMOQ network of QC laboratories as part of the execution of the PGS QC Lab Strategy. This will be achieved through driving process excellence in master data requirements, management and technical support as well as ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and compliance across enterprise platforms.

The Lead will provide leadership to the core QSEO technical SMEs that support global master data creation and maintenance as well as IMOQ site master data teams.

Develop and implement process excellence in QC master data requirements, management and technical support to optimize QC resource utilization, reduce cycle times and ensure supply reliability.

The intern will be guided and mentored by experienced design engineers throughout the process, ensuring they have a meaningful and productive experience.
Essential Responsibilities
Participate in all design stages of a specific harsh environment electrical connector development project including:
Interpreting customer design input requirements. Including regulatory and environmental constraints in order to develop scope of work and estimate project hours and project schedule
Participate in early-stage concept development, including designing and creating preliminary 3D CAD models.
Present design concepts to engineering department as part of Preliminary Design Review
Perform design changes based on team feedback on selected final design concept.
Finalize 3D CAD model and generate 2D CAD drawings of selected design.
Work with procurement to select vendors, receive quotations, and procure prototypes of selected design.
Create Design Validation Test Plan for selected design
Work with ITT Cannon internal engineering lab and possibly external labs to observe testing set up and provide technical assistance as necessary.
Interpret design validation test results to determine if design changes are necessary.
Work with Engineering Documentation to release final design.
The intern will be guided throughout the design project by engineering team members but will be able to be a full participant in the design process.

Position Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering program (BS/MS/PhD), in good standing
Knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical design principles.
Knowledge of metals, plastics, and rubber materials helpful, but not required.
Knowledge of designing for CNC machining and injection molding preferred
Knowledge/experience in CAD, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship.
