Position Summary The Customer Service Manager (CSM), under the direction of the Director(s) of Sales is responsible for all inside sales activity related to the Orders and Shipment of ITT Aerospace Controls products to the worldwide customer base. The CSM is responsible for leading and coaching the broader based customer service team to maximize their effectiveness in building long term customer relationships. The CSM will coordinate work between the customer service group and the other Functional Leads, to make sure all parties are aware of customer requirements as they pertain to individual orders and long term customer growth. Essential Responsibilities Customer Relationship Management * Build customer trust through consistent communication, realistic commitments, accurate information, and positive results. * Serve as the voice of the customer (VOC) internally, track and present Customer Scorecards. * Maintain proactive communication and transparency on order status, risks, and resolutions. Customer Solutions * Remains calm and constructive in emotionally charged interactions with customers and delivers unwelcome news objectively with the appropriate sensitivity. * Identifies and drives options that support ITT's strategy/business goals as well as customer needs. * Negotiates mutually beneficial solutions for the customer and ITT by leveraging his/her understanding of the Customer's business as well as ITT's strategy. * Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve issues and drive optimal outcomes. * Communicate customer impact to internal teams to ensure urgency and alignment. * Support strategic pricing and planning to meet corporate profit goals. * Supports the Corporate Strategic planning process. This includes the corporate plan, the plans for specific markets and the tactical plans that fall out of the various market plans. * Provide customer insights to Sales to enhance relationships and identify opportunities. * Drives continuous improvement into the Customer Service function and related processes. Sales and Financial Goals * Provides customer intelligence to Sales partners that will help them drive sales and improve the customer relationship. * Ensure timely, accurate and compliant quotes, order entry, and issue resolution. * Leads team to follow order status and proactively identifies and mitigates risks before they impact the customer or ITT. * Support resolution of payment issues and bad debt recovery. * Leverages knowledge of the customer and market to identify opportunities and provide competitive prices and lead times to close sales opportunities. Leadership/ Supervisory Responsibilities * Lead and manage the customer support team to ensure high-quality service delivery. * Develop and implement customer support strategies aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements. * Communicates the ITT vision and motivate people toward that vision. * Foster a collaborative, accountable and empowered team culture. * Practices appreciation and gratitude by promoting team accomplishments and by being committed to others' success. * Champions new approaches or opportunities and demonstrates integrity by adhering to commitments. * Align organizational structure with business objectives. * Develops an organizational structure, process and work environment that support core ITT values and enable business results for ITT and its customers Position Requirements EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE A bachelor's in business or technical degree; MBA is desirable. Four to ten years related experience and/or training; Strong understanding of aerospace systems, components, and regulatory environments. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents; the ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the business community; the ability to write presentations and articles that conforms to prescribed style and format; the ability to effectively present information to senior management and customers MATHEMATICAL/REASONING SKILLS The incumbent should have the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. The incumbent should have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. COMPUTER SKILLS Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to prepare spreadsheets, graphs, presentations, and reports. Must possess ERP system knowledge. TRAVEL DEMANDS Willingness and ability to travel as required. Minimal Travel is a requirement of this position. Position Summary As the Manufacturing Engineer / Programmer you will prepare detailed manufacturing instructions and programming data to produce machined parts and sub-assemblies to meet engineering drawings and specifications. Creates, revises, and maintains revision control on all the manufacturing process documents Understand cellular manufacturing concept and of lean principles Guide or train Associate Manufacturing Engineers as necessary. Position Summary As the Manufacturing Engineer / Programmer you will prepare detailed manufacturing instructions and programming data to produce machined parts and sub-assemblies to meet engineering drawings and specifications. You will determine manufacturing procedures and operation sequencing and establish tooling, tools, and machine requirements to fabricate parts and sub-assemblies for various products. In addition, you will spend time in the machine shop solving problems and improving processes associated with the parts you are responsible for. You will be part of the decision-making process in determining the planning, costing, and scheduling aspects of new product development parts as well as maintenance of legacy components. Essential Responsibilities * Manufacturing engineering capable to recommend, implement, and improve machining process flows and tools. * Assisting machinists with program prove out. * Be able to implement quick change over set up tools and process adequate process * Establishing standard times for setup and run of each operation on assigned parts * Originate studies directed towards more efficient manufacturing of parts. Including recommendations for changes in equipment, process methods, materials, and designs. * Participates in Engineering design reviews on new products and design changes for Design for Manufacture and Design to Cost. Reviews engineering drawings for manufacturing datum's, key characteristics and tolerance stack up. Works closely with engineering to ensure the design concepts and specifications support the most efficient manufacturing methods and techniques * Participates and/or leads in the specification of new capital equipment needs by preparing statement of work documentation and communicating and working with suppliers. * Prepare Items for master data, routings and BOM material usage review and approval * Coordinates and aids in the preparation of capital assets and expenditure budgets. * Prepares manpower and machine loading data and conducts capacity studies. * Develops cost studies of new manufacturing methods, equipment, and processing and compares with present methods, and prepares summary briefings with recommendations. * Frequent contact with both internal and external personnel to convey ideas involving production parts, supplies, equipment, and materials. * MRB support in rework instructions and corrective action to prevent reoccurrence. * Plans sequence of operations for the fabrication of machined parts through the use of 2 axis lathes; 3, and 4 axis horizontal and vertical mills, Miyano & Nakamura 5-13 axis 2 spindle mill/turn with B axis rotary tool spindle, as well as Matsuura 5 axis mill and conventional machining equipment or similar machinery. * Creates, revises, and maintains revision control on all the manufacturing process documents * Understand cellular manufacturing concept and of lean principles * Guide or train Associate Manufacturing Engineers as necessary. Position Requirements * 5 years' experience in standard machining operations or manufacturing engineer, including turning, milling, mill/turns, gear cutting, debur, and grinding. Experience in high technology CNC multi-axis machines is highly desirable. * Proficient in Master Cam and or Esprit Cad Cam programming. * CAD design/drawing experience with CAD, SolidWorks, and / or Creo. * Lean Manufacturing, LEAN tools, and Six Sigma knowledge is highly desirable. * Capable of planning for production the machining and manufacturing process of a part from start to finish * Proficient in blueprint reading, understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and interpreting 2D & 3D engineering models * Strong problem-solving skills to identifying the root cause of manufacturing/machining anomalies and making corrections * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs * Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitment #LI-MC1 #CCT1 Equal Pay Act Statement We aim to pay our 'ITT'ers' fairly and competitively in the locations that they live and work. Position Summary As a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer, you are an integral part of the ECS (Environmental Control System) Product Team. You directly participate in projects involving the design and development of composite and metallic structures, ducting, fluid and thermal control systems, acoustic control, and a variety of stand-alone and integrated heaters for numerous applications. You generate product concepts and designs, tooling designs, drawings, and Parts Lists based on customer data, loads, performance requirements, material applicability and environmental constraint. You lead and ensure the progress of assigned projects; develop designs, data, specifications, processes, and reports throughout the product development process; and present at technical reviews. Essential Responsibilities * Support project goals and tasks in collaboration with engineering leadership, finance, ME, quality, testing, program management, and production support functions. * Work seamlessly with other departments to develop prototypes and products that can be transitioned to production. * Perform design and analysis to meet internal and customer requirements. * Design tooling and fixtures as needed to produce designs consistently and economically. * Support resolution of technical problems in the lab or in the production line. * Support evaluation and resolution of escapes and field issues reported by customers. * Generate parts lists and digital bills of material - including sub-assemblies, fasteners, tooling, and hardware - accurately based on design requirements. * Develop procedures for parts and systems, such as Acceptance Test Procedures, Qualification Test Procedures and Reports, Qualification by Analysis & Similarity Reports, etc. * Generate 3D models and 2D drawings of parts and assemblies using both ANSI and ASME Y14 geometric dimensioning & tolerancing and other best practices Position Requirements * B.S. in Mechanical or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent field with 8+ years of experience in an engineering design and development environment. * Ample experience with design of mechanical components/systems made of advanced composites, elastomers, and metals (e.g., ECS components, ducts, multi-layer panels). * Familiarity with aerospace composite and metal manufacturing methods and best practices. * A self-driven individual with strong problem-solving skills. * Able and willing to methodically share knowledge with other team members. * Proficient in CAD modeling and engineering drawings using SolidWorks and/or Catia. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Desired Capabilities: * Experience with project engineering and technical leadership. * Familiarity with RTCA/DO-160 and/or MIL-STD-810 environmental testing standards. * Ability to define test plans, write test procedures, and lead development and qualification testing. * Experience with stress analysis and simulations (Ansys preferred). * Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (preferably Oracle).
