Position Responsibilities

Maintain required certifications, including EPA Universal RefrigerantTechnician Certification and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.

What You Will Do:
Inspects, maintains and repairs refrigeration units, and all systems/components related to heavy duty tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units
Install, maintain, and repair heavy-duty refrigeration units on trucks, trailers, and industrial equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system issues, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration cycles.
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure proper functioning.
Recharge refrigerant systems and replace or repair parts, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
Performs pre-start up checks on equipment and communicates repairs necessary
Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, dealing with various temperatures and conditions.
Rebuilding components on equipment
Complete all Repair Orders in a timely manner ensuring all labor and parts are charged to the appropriate unit
What You Bring:
3+ years of experience in heavy-duty refrigeration repair or maintenance (preferably with commercial trucks, trailers, or industrial units).
In-depth knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
EPA Section 608 Certification (required for handling refrigerants).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in refrigeration or HVAC preferred.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license

CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
ASE Certifications
