Organized work environment. Salary structure
Too many layers ie: managers should be bundled to reduce number of levels in regards to upper level positions.
Bonus possibilities.
Overall sound communicator
Reduce number of management positions and add on store personnel.
History of the company
Average
HR well representation very good.
Seeing a team put together a plan that meets the goals of the mission.
Quick and easy hire process. Easy to obtain employment.
Clackamas, Oregon location has an incredibly toxic work environment which is fostered and supported by Steve, the store manager and Susan, the HR manager. I told both of them how store supervisors talked rudely, unprofessional and yelled at me in front of employees and customers. Steve and Susan did nothing to address this behavior and told me they act that way because " they're young".
employee discounts
nothing.
Steve and Susan need more training about how to deal with unruly supervisors that are disrespectful and unprofessional towards employees.
nothing. it's a minimum wage paying job.
average. what more can you expect from a retail job
quitting and never returning again
Was the Pto but know even that suck.
I love working for jcp I been working at ther for 13 years.Diferent stores and locations different GM all of them .They pleased people that they don’t deserved.People that don’t do any work that’s the ones are recognize. The people that really work hard don’t get recognized and they rated you the way they want not the right way.Copie and paste that what they do.They recognized people based on the store performance and that dosent look right or fare. They do that so they don’t have to give race to people but the people that do less than you or nothing that’s the ones that get race.
All store are the same.Nothing change always the same think and problems.
Been more team worker.Equal for everyone constancy what they said.
Went people opinion metter it will be good other than that waisting time.
Not thank you
Personally the most expecting is a thanks you For your hard work.An appreciation.

Flexible hours
I liked how their point of sale system was so simple to learn. The sales floor departments were easy to know were which was a relief.
The managers were unorganized ,and since I was a cashier sometimes I needed them to put in a code for certain things and they would take a long time to get there and the customers would get very dissatisfied.
The environment
Great managers, flexible hours, and a positive work environment
Constant reduction of hours
Great family environment at the store level.
Turnover in top management of the company.
Flexibility and work-life balance afforded to be by my district manager.
My coworkers and I have become quite the team and enjoy their effort
The leadership, toxic negativity. Zero trust. Micromanage everything
