Primary Responsibilities:
* Customer Service & Sales - Acts as a role model for the Manager on Duty program while directing customer service activities throughout the store. * Line Management and Checkout Standards - Proactively shifts resources to checkouts based on observed fluctuations in store traffic. Reduces wait times during peak traffic periods by utilizing Mobile Point of Sale, Satellite Registers and Expeditor stations. Partners appropriately to stock all Impulse futures and to identify checkout supply needs.
* Human Resources / People Management - Creates and monitors the store's open requisitions and routes qualified applicants to the appropriate hiring manager. Coordinates the interview Talent Tryout process. Schedules and coordinates new hire orientations and training and administers ongoing associate training. Partners with the Sales Floor Supervisor and General Manager on training compliance. Reviews schedules and makes productive edits to further optimize resources.
* Performance Standards - Supportive of company shrink and safety initiatives. Meets established performance standards for the role on a consistent basis, including (but not limited to) the company's iCAP (Credit) program, product and service sales, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.

ASM Merchandise As the Assistant Manager of Merchandise, you will contribute to profitable sales growth by leading and engaging associates, managing company merchandise standards and execution, training and developing associates, and executing sales building programs to enhance the customer experience through driving performance standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Merchandise Execution - Owns in-stock levels through merchandise replenishment activities. Maintains high merchandise presentations standards, actively leads the team in planning and execution of all merchandise and visual elements in the store
* Customer Service and Sales- Models, coaches, and holds team accountable for outstanding customer service. Oversees the Manager on Duty program to ensure that associates are actively engaged, and customers are serviced appropriately.
* Omnichannel - Supports Omnichannel initiatives to further drive sales and customer service. Owns the training and coaching on all Omnichannel initiatives and processes
* Specialty Businesses: Responsible for driving sales growth in Fine jewelry, Window & Mattress business by leading and engaging associates. Owns the planning and execution of special events within specialty businesses.
* Team Development - Partners with store management team to source and hire store talent for hourly positions. Plays an active role in the training and development of associates; coaches in the moment, addresses performance issues.
* Performance Standards - Consistently meets established performance standards; including but not limited to shrink and safety initiatives, Omnichannel, scheduling efficiency, associate relations, engagement, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.

As a Car Electronics Installer, you'll install new technology into customers' vehicles in the installation bay of our local Best Buy store. You'll also share advice, best practices and product recommendations with customers and other employees. If you have a passion for cars and tech, we'll provide the trainings and certifications you need to perform at an expert level. Internally, this role is known as an Autotech Agent, and it provides opportunities to advance to Autotech Agent Level 2.
What you'll do
* Install car electronics, including T-harness remote starts, stereos, speakers, dash cameras, backup cameras, amplifiers and in-dash units
* Use provided guides to identify compatible mobile electronic products and complete installation projects
* Verify vehicle make and model and communicate any compatibility concerns prior to installation
* Provide a high level of customer service
* Complete required trainings and certifications
Basic qualifications
* Current, valid driver's license
* Have and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy's safety standards (e.g., minimal number of violations/accidents)
Preferred qualifications
* Prior experience installing car electronics
* Prior retail experience
