Social Finance, LLC seeks Senior RiskAnalyst in San Francisco, CA: Job Duties
Lead the design and construction of multi-digital contact channels, digital strategies, and self-service payment solutions that minimize losses and maximize member experience. Optimize the Recovery Channel to provide the best ROI across different segments of post charge-off accounts. Develop and optimize strategies that balance effectiveness and efficiency through a combination of impact analysis, testing and collaboration with stakeholders. Independently lead the entire project lifecycle for complex data analysis, strategies, and models. Utilize predictive analytics, data science methodologies and custom scoring in the development of outreach strategies through the most appropriate communication channel. Evaluate the effectiveness of current loss mitigation policies, draw conclusions, and exert influence at all levels of the organization. Work with Operations and Technology partners to identify gaps in system/operations process flows to ensure alignment of strategy/intent, execution, policies, state legalities and regulatory guidelines as it relates to contacting delinquent customers.
Full-time telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Summary/Objective:
The Mortgage RiskAnalyst I is responsible for performing regulatory compliance tests and analysis of mortgage loans and home equity loans/lines.
Essential Functions

Work with Mortgage Department leadership on internal and external audit examinations, assisting in the resolution of any outstanding issues.
Responsible for maintaining a mortgage lending compliance program in various areas, such as Fair Lending, HMDA, and TRID.
Assist in the design and implementation of projects and activities to further the growth of mortgage lending at DCU.
Work with Mortgage Risk leadership to develop the Mortgage Department's annual compliance testing plan.
Develop Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for early warning signs of compliance concerns.
Monitor various indicators of risk - KRIs, QC results, compliance testing results, complaints, risk assessment results, etc., to identify weaknesses and assist in remediating.
Review new products/services for potential compliance concerns; prepare risk assessments.
Maintain knowledge of, and adhere to, the Credit Union's internal compliance policies and procedures.
Provide innovative, detailed, and practical solutions to an extensive range of demanding and complicated problems.
Make recommendations for changes to procedures and documentation.
Create and maintain gap analysis detail reporting.
Manage large data sets, troubleshoot, and develop efficient processes for collecting and aggregating data.
Communicate effectively with team members and Mortgage Department leadership.
Identify issues and elevate as needed.

Summary
Under the supervision of the Formula Based Lending Team Leader this position is responsible for the oversight of the Formula Based Monitoring Function. Position will track, analyze, and interpret documentation provided by borrowers as required by a Loan Agreement in support of funds advanced under a revolving line of credit. Position may also perform other related duties as determined by the Team Leader or Department Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Tracks for the timely receipt of borrowing base certificates and other supporting documentation (such as Accounts Receivable and Payable Statements, Balance Sheets, Inventory Schedules), as may be required by a Loan Agreement as a condition of lending for a revolving line of credit.
Reviews and analyzes borrower-provided information received to determine compliance with formula based requirements.
Identifies and follows-up with the appropriate production staff those companies who have not filed required information in a timely manner to determine status.
Reviews and analyzes recent and historical borrowing trends for any inconsistencies.
Reviews and analyzes recent and historical collateral levels for any inconsistencies.
Follows specific notification procedures for companies outside of its permissible borrowing requirements.
Prepares and distributes reports of non-compliance with reporting requirements.
Assures maintenance of appropriate records of work performed by Formula Based Lending staff.

Make timely and accurate credit decisions within the company's fair lending, credit, and collateral guidelines.
Establish and maintain good relationships with dealers.
Work with the Outside Sales team to improve app flow, look-to-book, and credit quality of our dealer partners.
Negotiate with dealers to buy deals on the best possible terms for FHF while still maintaining dealer satisfaction.
Follow up on deals to try to capture business and solicit dealers for new or more business.
Conduct preliminary credit interviews with prospective clients to validate critical information (when applicable).
Perform related administrative, clerical, or customer service duties.

What you bring:
BA/BS degree and/or equivalent work experience required
Demonstrates historical career stabilitly
1 year of previous financial or banking experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish or Portuguese)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask, self-reliant
Proficient knowledge of Excel and Outlook
