Construction Laborer Responsibilities: * Operate and care for construction equipment and machines. * Assist Pipe Fitters, Operators, Carpenters, and other Journeyman with daily tasks * Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary. * Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. * Load or unload construction materials. * Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding. * Remove, fill, or compact earth. * Follow instructions from supervisors. * Assist craft workers. * Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary. * Perform site clean-up. Construction Laborer Requirements: * Must have a valid driver's license. * Be at least 18 years of age. * High school diploma. * Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks. * Ability to work in all weather. * Workers must be punctual and reliable. * Must have experience as a general laborer in the construction industry. Oversee project scheduling at both the master and short-term (Pull Plan / Weekly Work Plan) levels. Validate that field progress aligns with target production rates and project milestones. Support corrective action planning with project teams to maintain schedule integrity. Ensure field installations meet company quality standards and mission critical client requirements. Oversee implementation of QA/QC plans and coordinate with the QA/QC team to confirm compliance. Participate in field inspections and coordinate with AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) to resolve code and inspection issues. Participate in project startup and planning sessions, providing input on logistics, constructability, and sequencing. Build relationships with local jurisdictions and coordinate preconstruction meetings and site logistics reviews. Support procurement planning by identifying potential constructability and delivery challenges early in the process. Oversee field-level document management processes including RFIs, submittals, and construction drawings. Provide oversight to maintain organized, accurate field records and logs. Review project schedules, cost reports, and manpower plans for completeness and accuracy. Collaborate with Project Managers to align field progress with financial goals and staffing needs. Lead field coordination meetings and participate in OAC and BIM/VDC sessions as needed. Review and approve project logistics plans to ensure safe and efficient material handling and public protection. Review potential change orders, field tickets, and project impacts with project teams. Monitor subcontractor performance and identify financial or performance risks early. Mentor and develop Superintendents and field leaders to improve leadership, planning, and communication skills.
