Essential Functions: The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager with planning, developing, coordinating, and managing onsite construction engineering activities for large, extensive projects. Responsibilities: * Assist in the development and monitoring of project budgets. Collect and code project cost documents and continually monitor and update the budget to reflect changes in work
* Monitor of project schedules and review work schedules for improving work methods
* Oversee the timely submittal and completion of documentation required by the owner and agencies
* Prepare subcontractor and supplier agreements to be executed and prepare correspondence to document changes in work or costs
* Work with foreman and superintendents to monitor all activities to insure a safe and efficient working environment for crew, subcontractors and the public

Qualifications:
* Requires a 4 year engineering or construction related degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience
* 1 to 5 years' experience in construction required; Water/Wastewater preferred
* Working knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as the use of the internet
* Advanced AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP and Revit software use required
* Must have good communications and analytical skills
* Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
* Ability to assess and quickly solve problems
Working Conditions:

Job Summary
Sundt is looking for committed engineering and construction management students within accredited universities/colleges. Key Responsibilities
1. Aid in the preparation of proposals and presentations for potential clients.
2. Assist in analyzing subcontractor bids and vendor proposals to ensure they meet project requirements.
3. Assist in the preparation and assembly of bid packages, ensuring that all necessary documents, specifications, and requirements are included and accurately presented.
4. Attend and contribute to preconstruction meetings, taking notes and assisting with follow-up tasks.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program required or,

+ Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
+ Basic knowledge in standard electrical engineering techniques, principles and procedures.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

**Compensation**
$125,000.00-350,000.00 Yearly
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.

Job Summary
Assists the Project Engineer with being the technical source of information for the project. Responds to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders and have responsibility for assisting in writing change orders, RFl's, meeting minutes, and reviewing Submittals. Maintains an effective and professional working relationship with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. This position includes three 'steps' (I, II and Senior), which provide for a progression of skill and experience. Step I is the entry level for individuals with a minimum of experience in this position. Step II is used for employees with 2 years of experience in this position, or with experience on larger and more complex projects. The 'Senior' step is used for employees with more than 4 years of experience and/or experience on significantly larger or more complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assists Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and other work tasks and assists with or reviews and processes submittals, change orders, RFl's, and budget forecasting. Ensures the timely and appropriate generation, collection, distribution, storage, retrieval and ultimate disposition of meeting agendas, RFl's and daily reports.
2. Demonstrates an understanding of the project management plan (PMP) and is involved in support and execution of the plan. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the change management process and performs project scope activities and supports the project team to ensure the work needed to complete the project successfully.
3. Ensures the administration of the project quality management plan and demonstrates and reinforces a culture of safety throughout the project.
4. May assist in the calculation of daily production rates and unit costs for self-performed work. Participates in risk management including identification, analysis, response planning and monitoring and control on a project and demonstrates competency in understanding the environmental control processes for the project and takes corrective actions when necessary.
5. May be responsible for overseeing/managing the BIM (Building Information Modeling) Coordination between Subcontractors and Designers.
6. May be responsible for the documentation and submittal for the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification of a building and for creating and updating Digital Record Drawings (ORD).
7. May provide lines, grades and layout as required for the project while maintaining an organized log book.
8. May provide the following weekly quantities: maintains accurate quantity logs and reports quantities in compliance with the cost control manual. Completed logs are to be filed with the project files. Perform elements of the processes involved in budgeting and controlling costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget. Demonstrates business acumen within area of responsibility. (Not all Field Engineers track quantities)
9. Provides support to superintendents required for the execution of the work and assists in the resolution of field problems as necessary.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate with others is essential.
2. Entry-level position that normally requires a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience.
3. Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) proficiency.
