Team & Department Leadership Lead and mentor the Finance and HR departments, including the Controller, Director of Human Resources, and Director of Facilities. Stakeholder Engagement Serve as a key liaison for financial matters with the Board of Directors, auditors, and regulatory agencies (DOT's). Communicate financial performance and strategy across the firm. Foster and manage accounting, banking, and other vendor relationships. Mergers & Acquisitions Lead financial due diligence, valuation, integration planning, and execution for potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. Facilities Oversight Oversee safe, efficient, and well-managed work environments across all J-U-B locations. Collaborate with Director of Facilities to plan for space utilization, lease management, and future facility needs. Requirements To be successful you will need the following qualifications: Education Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field (MBA preferred). Experience Minimum 20 years in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions, including financial modeling, integration, and strategic evaluation. Demonstrated leadership in professional services or consulting engineering is strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience overseeing or partnering closely with Human Resources in an integrated business environment. Skills & Certifications CPA required. Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership capabilities. Ability to understand and quantify financial risks and rewards in both strategic and operational decision making. While applying technical civil engineering knowledge and skills, this engineering position will: Work with multidisciplinary design teams in the planning, design, construction and permitting of a wide variety of water, wastewater/sewer, stormwater, irrigation, and general utility projects. Analyze engineering data and utilize sound engineering judgement to produce final engineering documents including studies, feasibility analyses, technical memoranda, preliminary engineering reports, facility plans, opinions of probable construction cost, construction drawings and technical specifications. Develop business by building relationships with clients and assisting with the preparation of proposals. Prepare scopes of work, contracts, and design budgets for projects. Collaborate with clients, subconsultants, operators, regulatory agencies, funding agencies, and contractors on project requirements and deliverables. Attend client meetings and participate in public meetings or open houses to discuss project details and inform the public. Perform periodic fieldwork including construction observation and project reconnaissance. Supervise support staff assigned to projects including drafters, EI's, surveyors, and construction observers. Manage clients and client projects while providing responsive communications, professional services, and delivering quality projects to multiple clients. Coordination and support of multi-disciplinary projects throughout the company. Requirements Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.). 5-15+ years of qualified experience. Excellent communication and writing skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proven technical background and skillset. Salary Range: $94,000 - $135,000 per year, determined by experience.
