Position Intro:

You will manage a team of Producers, Release managers, and QA in the production of high quality products across a broad portfolio of Indie games. Maintain overall Portfolio planning and budgetary responsibilities for numerous game brands. You'll be collaborating with team leaders, Humble management, and our external partners daily ensuring our projects progress to successful completion.

Supervision Exercised: Supervise a team of Producers

Responsibilities:

* Team and Performance management
* Directly manage a team of Producers responsible for the full production life cycle
* Hire and train new employees while fostering and enhancing our company culture and external studio relations
* Mentors production staff in areas such as scheduling, budget, quality, communication and time management
* Provide annual evaluations for direct reports and provide measurable growth goals
* Enhance relationships with development partners, and internal departments including Executive Management, Sales, Marketing, and Operations
* Process and Tooling
* Establish and scale portfolio processes and tooling as needed to meet organizational needs
* Standardize process and reporting methodologies for production in order to report progress and forecast dates across the publishing portfolio
* Work with Vendors to facilitate delivery of portfolio tiles as needed
* Create, track, and report on quarterly OKRs for game portfolio
* Product Strategy
* Identify, establish, and mature portfolio workstreams to successfully deliver games
* Assist in the development of the Production team and portfolio strategy as required by VP of Production
* Provide annual evaluations for direct reports and provide measurable growth goals
* Occasional travel to developers or licensors when required

Required Experience:

* 10+ years experience producing PC/Console games from conception to code release
* 5+ years of management experience
* Extensive experience as a Lead Producer / Production Director on a major title
* Fully produced at least 2 large team games (PC or Console)
* Experience working with external development teams
* Experience working with a Portfolio of games
* Experience working with ports

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

The Technical Product Manager's mandate is to

Responsibilities

* Act as a cross-functional thought partner and hub for Product Managers, SMEs, Data Scientists and Engineering alike as it relates to innovation via technical solutions.

* Be able to clearly communicate changes to timelines, scope and impact of technical projects to the Director of Product, and other key stakeholders.
* Monitor and communicate analytically the success of product features launched
* Advocate for technical product innovation in our product roadmap
* Clearly articulate why technical product solutions are needed/implemented to a non-technical audience

Manage Highly Technical Moz Product Areas

They are the subject matter expert for Moz's proprietary metrics (existing and upcoming) and technical products, understanding at a high-level:

* Why they're important to clients
* How they're leveraged in the Moz ecosystem
* How they're built
* What expertise is needed to keep them updated/fresh

Additionally, they should:

* Be the product owner and champion of these metrics and products across the organization
* Collaborate with CS and Engineering to understand the impact of bugs/issues and necessary enhancements and prioritize accordingly
* Own highly technical product areas that require an inherent understanding of the technology and its application to customer problems
* Understand improvements based on client needs and usage that form the basis for the product backlog

Act as the product representative as it relates to our large and complex data relationships with external partners and clients. Keeping track of the following:

* What are we contractually obliged to provide to them?
* What services are they using? How are they using them?
* What level of service are they expecting (/is written in the contract)?
* How are they impacted by degradation/changes/enhancements to our services?
* Who do they interface with if they have detailed questions/feedback/etc.?

Spiceworks Ziff Davis is on the hunt for a self-starter, looking to get their foot in the door to B2B marketing and operations. Our new lead generation specialist ideally possesses a competitive and goal-oriented spirit that will thrive in our collaborative environment. We're of the mindset that no detail is too small, and work closely to ensure that every 'T' is crossed.

We're growing fast - we've adopted a work from anywhere culture (yes, that's right) and are looking for an individual that can keep up and manage their time efficiently, who's eager to learn new skills (software/platforms) as they grow with us. Ring any bells? SWZD wants you! Time to apply!

Your day-to-day (as a Lead Generation Specialist, you'll):

* Manage a set list of campaigns for some of the biggest companies in the world.
* Address challenging situations and tight deadlines effortlessly.
* Find solutions and maintain a positive relationship with all internal teams.
* Oversee the delivery and fulfillment of tasks managed by partner teams
* Work with Supervisor to help maintain reporting verification across all campaigns, ensuring they're running and tracking accurately
* Ensure campaign is properly implemented and delivering via QA tasks including: third-party reporting verification/validation, auditing of targeting for both national and international campaigns, and review other delivery reports
* Demonstrate the flexibility necessary to adjust to changing/additional duties as the needs of our clients and our operations change.
* Additional responsibilities may be delegated in order to assist meeting our goals and mission

What does it take to do this job?

* 2+ years of professional experience
* Demand or lead generation experience not required but is a plus
* Ability to work with ambiguity and navigate complex situations
* Thrive working in a fast-paced, energetic environment
* Sense of ownership and desire to lean in
* Extreme attention to detail
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
* Comfortable with Excel
* Ability to quickly pick up new platforms/software
* In terms of logistics, all interviews will take place over phone or video due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic*
