Install water heaters, faucets and toilets for both commercial and residential projects.
Review blueprints and building codes and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers and levels.
A team player that works well within an organization
Service oriented and can communicate effectively with customers
Has integrity and can be trusted to work independently

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman or dependable Journeyman Plumber for a 4-month assignment at the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Panama City Beach, FL. This temporary position will focus on successfully closing out the remaining phases of the project. While the role is project-specific, there is potential for transition into full-time employment upon completion, leading future projects within our organization.
Role Overview:
The Plumbing Foreman/Journeyman is responsible for the installation and completion of plumbing systems on the project, ensuring all work meets project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead or support plumbing teams in accordance with project plans and specifications.
Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to resolve field issues.
Ensure all installations comply with federal, state, and local codes, with particular attention to federal compliance standards.
Support project close-out activities, including inspections, testing, and punch-list completion.
Promote and enforce a strong culture of safety in alignment with company and federal guidelines.
Provide mentorship and guidance to on-site team members.
Required Skills & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
4+ years of plumbing experience on commercial projects.
Previous foreman or supervisory experience preferred.
Experience working on U.S. military or government construction projects strongly preferred.
Capabilities:
In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, safety procedures, and industry standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Working Conditions:
Work performed indoors and outdoors, often exposed to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, moisture, and wind.

Service Plumbers
If you are/have:
5+ years of progressive service or new construction plumbing
Schooling and certifications preferred but not required
Experienced in offering high customer service skills and helpful attitude.
Detailed oriented, skilled with smart phone paperless system and take pride in accuracy as a signature of your work.
Skilled in delivering your work timely with a positive and encouraging presence to customers and co-workers
Have a clean driving record and 3+ years driving experience
No high-pressure sales or quotas

5 years of plumbing repair, maintenance, and installation experience
2 years of plumbing service experience preferred
Able to perform 8+ hours of physical labor in a variety of environmental conditions

Extensive knowledge of plumbing installation, maintenance and repair skills
Ability to develop and implement planned maintenance programs
Ability to operate smartphone technology, hand tools and power tools
Apply shop mathematics to solve problems
Able to read instructions and blueprints and follow safety procedures
Ability to work with minimal supervision and travel independently
Must have a valid Drivers License & reliable transportation
Legally eligible to work in the US
