What will you do?
Create technical documentation, including L11 rack assembly instructions, 2D mechanical drawings, SOPs, and customer‑facing specifications.
Design and validate rack-level mechanical architectures (EIA 19” and ORV3), including airflow paths, liquid cooling integration/mounting (cold-plates, manifolds, hoses, QDs), structural load considerations, fiber/network/power cable routing, and space optimization.
Assemble, fit‑check, and mechanically integrate complex rack systems, including liquid loop components, quick‑disconnects, manifolds, and power distribution units (PDUs).
Lead the specification and validation of rack‑level power architecture, including PDU selection, detailed power budget and load‑balancing calculations (wye vs. delta, 3ph vs. 1ph), and compatibility with global power plug and connector standards.
Participate in customer engagements and site visits to understand deployment constraints (white-glove services) and gather feedback for design improvements.
Understanding of rack installation constraints, maintenance access, and serviceability in rack mechanical infrastructure.
Create detailed computer aided design (CAD) models and fabrication drawings, including weldments, sheet metal, and machined parts for customized rack solutions.
Develop and maintain design documentation including bill of materials (BOMs), cable BOMs, alternate sourcing strategies, test plans, and engineering change orders (ECOs).
Manage relationships with mechanical component vendors, including racks, PDUs, switches, cables, and packaging solutions.
Lead internal and external mechanical design reviews and contribute to cross-functional design validation efforts.
Drive continuous improvement in mechanical design for manufacturability (DFM), cost reduction, and performance optimization.
Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for mechanical failures or field issues.
Collaborate with compliance and certification teams to ensure mechanical designs meet global regulatory requirements (e.g., UL, CE, ISTA, ASTM, IEC).

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software for our 3rd Eye products. You will collaborate with peers in software engineering, software quality assurance, and project and product management to define and develop software that meets customer and system requirements. Following defined design practices and the use of sound software engineering principles, you will ensure that application software products are safe, robust, and user friendly. This also involves identifying problems within software, creating, and implementing solutions to deal with them, and keeping company technical architecture running as smoothly and effectively as possible.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
Architect and design embedded software solutions according to customers' needs.
Build software solutions in a timely fashion.
Troubleshoot electrical embedded system designs using a combination of test equipment and software.
Coordinate and collaborate well with other team members.
Design and build solutions in conjunction with predetermined requirements analysis, but challenge and question potential gaps in analysis.
Document key work, i.e., technical design, procedures, and new technologies.
Exert technical influence over multiple teams, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing your deep knowledge and experience.
Minimal travel less than 10% is required for this position.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
General Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
5+ years of experience in embedded software/firmware development across full product life cycle.
Experience with connecting an embedded system to various sensors (IMUs, temperature, pressure sensors, etc.).
Strong Linux knowledge.
Strong C/C++ programming skills.
Strong embedded system debugging skills.
Expertise with Python is advantageous.
Experience with electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
Experience with Agile software development practices and continuous delivery.
Experience with large scale deployment of commercial software product.
Experience with test driven development (TDD).
Experience in startup environment and taking a project to market successfully.
Proficient understanding of version control systems (git).
Strong organizational and planning skills, mathematical (statistical) skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Comfort working under limited supervision and handling routine matters on your own initiative.
Minimal travel less than 10% is required for this position.
Additional Experiences for special consideration:
Experience with the design and manufacturing of software for Digital Camera, DVR, Monitor, Telematic products.
RTOS knowledge such as FreeRTOS and low-level microcontroller development.
Experience with secure firmware updates/programming for IoT Devices is a plus.
Experience with wireless modules (cellular LTE, WiFi, BLE, etc.) is a plus.
Controller Area Network (CAN) knowledge (J1939/OBD-II) is a plus.
Experience in hybrid cloud AWS technologies and Edge Linux development environment is a plus.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Jabil is seeking a highly experienced and customer-facing Principal Program Manager to lead global Data Center Infrastructure & Rack Integration projects. This role is responsible for the end-to-end development, delivery, and lifecycle management of highly customized rack solutions and MDCs for hyperscale and enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in managing multi-million-dollar programs, coordinating global teams, and delivering scalable infrastructure solutions. The Principal Program Manager is a senior position in Program Management responsible for running large complex programs, including contingency planning and issue resolution.
What can you expect to do?
Customer-Facing Program Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison for global cloud customers, leading cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver tailored infrastructure solutions. Modular Data Center Expertise: Manage the design, planning, assembly, configuration, testing, and global delivery of Modular Data Center solutions and other Data Center Infrastructure Programs.

Global Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, procurement, logistics, and multiple global integrator facilities to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Team Management: Lead diverse teams across Production Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Care to fulfill infrastructure needs with timely execution and post-sales support.
Technical Oversight: Coordinate and execute the design, build, and test of various rack configurations, ensuring quality, scalability, and performance standards are met.

What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required; Master's preferred.
12-15+ years of experience in program management in rack integration, modular data centers, or cloud infrastructure.
Proven success in customer-facing roles managing large-scale, global programs.
Proven ability to develop effective, matrixed, cross-organization programs and best practices, collaborating and communicating across business and technology stakeholders and multiple geographies.
Deep understanding of MDC architecture, rack-level integration, and hyperscale cloud infrastructure.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
