IT Field Service Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving to various restaurant locations to repair and replace IT equipment. Your primary focus will be on servicing existing equipment, responding to scheduled and emergency service calls. Additionally, you will assist in new projects.The ideal candidate should have excellent technical skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
Work Hours: Full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Must be flexible to work weekends and be on-call for night shifts.
Essential Functions:
Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls by traveling between restaurant locations.
Perform repairs and replacements on a variety of IT equipment, including Point of Sale systems, credit card devices, routers, cameras, computers, drive-thru equipment, IP phones, etc.
Install new cables (ethernet, video wire, etc.) and terminate them properly.
Take responsibility for after-hour emergency calls on designated on-call days.
Assist in new projects at existing stores and participate in new store builds when necessary.
When applicable, escalate issues to IT vendors, responsible for follow-up and documenting root cause.
Additional Duties:
Complete weekly expense reports.
Maintain the work vehicle in good condition.
Control inventory and perform monthly audits
Qualification Standards:
Prior experience in restaurant IT service or a related industry is preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, depending on skills and industry experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
Good driving record and must pass a DMV check.
Ability to thrive in a high-paced team environment.
Physical ability to bend, twist, walk, reach, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to work on concrete or tile floors for extended periods.
Comfortable working in small spaces, including crawling under counters and in tight areas.
Proficient in climbing ladders and working at heights.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Effective communication skills, both electronically and verbally, with internal and external customers.
Ability to follow directions and work within established systems.
Maintains good personal hygiene.
High energy level and self-motivation.

Identify on a regular basis their opportunities and creates an action plan to increase the performance level to the required K1 standard
Ensures that their location has the proper staffing level to maximize the employee and guest experience.
Over sees weekly inventories of each location per company standards.
Maintain a professional K1 image including the Paddock lounge cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards.
Ensures their location is keeping food cost, part costs and labor costs (hours) at or below K1 acceptable standards.
Ensures their location is consistently following the guidelines for private party events and catering including: food service and quality standards, greet procedures, POS and payout procedures, set up and décor standards, party rental and supply storage and rebooking all repeatable parties.
Understands and makes sure that each team member follows all cash handling procedures including safe maintenance, deposits and all banking functions.
Works with their team to promote a positive social media response.
Works with their team to ensure that each employee understands the importance of treating guests the K1-Way so the guests continue to return, providing an exceptional guest experience.
Responds to customer service needs to provide the highest standards of service within 24hours.
Maintains great relationships with all vendors and notifies the General Manager of any vendor issue
Ensures their Team is providing a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.
Represents the K1 image at all company and community events (local businesses, organizations and media).
Ensures their Team is engaging in preventative maintenance, daily cleaning, and repairs.

Work Hours: Full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Must be flexible to work weekends and be on-call for night shifts.
Essential Functions:
Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls by traveling between restaurant locations.
Perform repairs and replacements on a variety of IT equipment, including Point of Sale systems, credit card devices, routers, cameras, computers, drive-thru equipment, IP phones, etc.
Install new cables (ethernet, video wire, etc.) and terminate them properly.
Take responsibility for after-hour emergency calls on designated on-call days.
Assist in new projects at existing stores and participate in new store builds when necessary.
When applicable, escalate issues to IT vendors, responsible for follow-up and documenting root cause.
Additional Duties:
Complete weekly expense reports.
Maintain the work vehicle in good condition.
Control inventory and perform monthly audits
Qualification Standards:
Prior experience in restaurant IT service or a related industry is preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, depending on skills and industry experience.

Good driving record and must pass a DMV check.

Physical ability to bend, twist, walk, reach, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
